Had a wonderful first experience at Mallo Coffee Bar this last Saturday! Service was prompt and extremely friendly despite the fact that the small store was bustling with activity. First round of drinks (cappuccinos) were made quickly and were delicious, as were the house-made chocolate croissants! Very funky spot. Loved the vibe. Service was great, the staff were very welcoming and personable. Had the latte, which came to $7.80 (tip included). Another great latte in the city; aromatic, strong but not bitter and very pleasant. I’m also big on cups, and this was a well insulated cup with a cute design.

Not too loud that you can’t get a read or a journaling session in.
Very cool to be able to go from drinking a flat white to a cold beer.
