First came here three years ago, right after we moved to Toronto, and this little Korean spot instantly felt like home. (Disclosure: we’re not Korean—but good East Asian food has a way of bridging that distance.)
Our go-tos are the glass noodles, bibimbap, and fried rice cakes—each one authentic, flavorful, and comforting. The glass noodles are never soggy, always perfectly seasoned; the bibimbap is a wholesome mix of veggies, protein, and multigrain rice that leaves you feeling satisfied, not heavy.
The space is tiny, with only 3–4 seats, so sometimes we dine in if luck’s on our side. Prices are fair (way better than your average food court meal), no tipping required, and the taste keeps us coming back.

Mama Lee’s was a good place to stop by to pick up lunch. The workers were polite and welcoming. The food was prepared quickly and they have a good selection of drinks. I would recommend.

This little Korean restaurant is a hidden gem .the food is absolutely delicious, and I love coming here! The only downside is that the inside is really small, with just a few seats. It would be amazing if they could add some outdoor tables in the summer, especially since there’s space outside like the other restaurants nearby. The food definitely deserves a proper spot to sit and enjoy it!

This was my go to food for my meals during my 2 weeks in toronto especially when I find myself missing asian food. I had the bibimbap and the black bean noodle which were all very delicious and decently priced. Its authentic to me and even better than some of the korean eateries back home in singapore. I liked that they had purple rice which made it seem healthier. Highly recommend this small humble shoop for a good korean meal

The food quality is great, but the food processing time is too long. It took me 40 mins to get my takeout order.

Nothing to right home about, Mama Lee's is straightforward when it comes to Korean cuisine. The restaurant feels more like a hole-in-the-wall shop. Serving some drinks and a select dishes. With rice and noodle bowl options, it's a very safe choice when it comes to Korean food.
On my visit, I got myself a can of iced tea and their pork rib rice bowl. I was surprised on how well marinated the ribs are, served atop cabbage and that purple rice and bean combo. With a tiny side of kimchi and a dumpling, the bowl is filling.
There isn't much to say about the atmosphere, a few high stools and bar style tables to quickly eat and go. The decor seems to be very mixed with minimalist with contemporary inspiration. The place is more to order to go than to dine in.
The cost is moderate. Along with how it tastes, it best enjoyed with a comfy seat elsewhere.

I went here to grab dinner. It's a small restaurant with a few seats inside. It was quite hot upon entering. The shop keep was nice. I ordered the bibimbop with beef. The portion size is large and came with a free miso soup. I did order a side of kimchi however it seems the shopkeep forgot to include it when she handed me my takeout bag. The side of kimchi is $1.75. As I only found out after I got home, there was nothing I could do at that point. The quality of the food itself was good but I think for the price there may be better Korean eats more north in the city. If you are by the harbour and craving Korean, this restaurant has you covered.
Rating is lower due to missing kimchi :(
