Love this restaurant on Ossington, especially in the summer on their patio. The food is delicious, fresh and colourful. The menu changes every once in a while but the breakfast sandwich is great, worth every penny. I also had their veggie sandwich which I don’t think is on the menu anymore but it was perfect, I hope they bring it back They make nice classic cocktails and have a good selection of wines. It’s not pretentious like some of the other restaurants on the strip.

Came to celebrate a friends birthday for brunch. Had seen reviews on TikTok and was excited to try.
Sadly the food and service did not live up to the hype.
Food: We ordered the burger (which had tonnes of reviews of being one of the best in the city) but the fries were more of a highlight than the burger. It was not worth the $29. We ordered the prosciutto and burrata sandwich which was probably the best thing we tried. We also got the Ribolitta soup which was not hot at all.
Service: our table server was amazing. She was super attentive and deserves 5 stars herself. However, there was a male server who was rude and not accommodating at all, actually provided little effort to provide customer service. They also didn’t have cash change for us?

I ordered the Ribolitta and it came out lukewarm. It was good, not great. I found the portion to be on the smaller side as I was still hungry after. My partner ordered the burger and said it was good, but not $29 good. Our server was great. I didn’t get her name but she was very sweet and the only reason I didn’t give this place a 1 star.
We were a party of 8. We specified in our reservation that we would like to be seated together. Our friends drove from Hamilton and Kitchener to be able to enjoy a nice brunch together and there was 0 effort from the restaurant to have us seated together. There was one male server in particular who was so unfazed by our request. He would just say “I can’t” or “those are for other reservations”. We were divided into two parties of 4, and the “other reservations” were parties of 3 or less. A modicum of effort would have been appreciated.

My meal was good but was expecting more from a $29 burger and fries combo. The fries were more of a highlight than the burger. Also, my partner ordered the Ribolitta and was assured it was filling, however the portion she recieved did not satiate her and it was lukewarm.
Lastly, I want to highlight the negative service we received. We were a party of 8 but had to split up the parties in two different sections of the restaurant despite our request in the reservation to sit together. Once tables opened up around our friends on the other side, we asked to move and combine tables and this request was impolitely denied. The reason we were apparently denied was that they were holding seats for future reservations but they could have easily sat those reservations where we were and made the switch. I understand that this may be nitpicking but to show no effort in keeping our party together (who travel from all different parts of the city) left a sour taste in my mouth.
Shoutout to the server who worked my table as she was excellent and accommodating and does not deserve a one star rating in service (unfortunately I didn't get their name). The server we asked to accomodate our seating arrangement was unpleasant (he was the only male working that day) and deserves negative stars.
Thank you for nothing male server.

I booked a reservation for 3 people back in September for my mom’s birthday. On the day of, the individual joining us had arrived early, however, my mom was running late so I tried to call the restaurant twice to let them know but they didn’t pick up. Since the other person joining us was already there, I asked them to let the staff know that we were running behind - for reference we arrived 15 minutes late. When we arrived, we were seated at a tiny table (maybe ok for 2 people but not 3) directly beside the front door, where we constantly had people walking around us and over us. Despite several nicer tables and booths opening up within a few minutes of us arriving, the staff refused to let us move and instead prioritized their walk in customers. Within 30 minutes of us arriving, the restaurant was almost completely empty, with no other customers waiting for a table. Considering I booked the reservation weeks in advance and it was for my mother’s birthday, I was extremely disappointed in the customer service and would not recommend this restaurant to others. It’s a shame that they think they can treat paying customers this way.

Hey gang, I dealt with the owner Colin Tooker, who eventually replaced my burger 🍔 with extra fries, with extra onion/pickles on the burger, & on the side, with a bottle of coke😊 THE FOOD WAS SO AWESOME🥰
The location @ Yonge is very different from Ossington😅
I'm still upset how the Ossington restaurant handled my complaint😁 Zachary Quinto must of been super hungry, maybe he should go to the Yonge location instead🍔

Food was good atmosphere is cute (what you would expect on Ossington) but was taken aback by the server. She could not have cared if we lived or died.

How they managed staffs & time is a joke. We put our name down for a table for 2 for 45mins wait. Got a text msg for 1 hour wait. 55 mins close to the wait time, I called them when is our next turn and the host told me there is no table available and their reservations are booked throughout the day. If there’s anything available, they will msg me. Then I told her they should at least let their customer know there was no table so we didn’t have to wait. Then she goes “there is still 6 mins until your wait time is over” and “it’s not guaranteed” - so this is your way to talk to someone who waited for almost 1hr to get a table? Will she get me a table in 6 mins? If you do not see a way to get a table for walk-ins, at least say it so no one has to waste their time and they could have gone to another restaurant. The way she worded it sounds like we would have to be on our phone all day, waiting for their texts to get a table. If there is 0 start, I would rate this experience and customer service provided to customers. Such a joke

Everything about this place is the best! I absolutely love the tall beautiful model like manager who walks around with the iPad! She’s so kind and patient. The food is top tier and all the employees seem to really love their job! Favourite brunch/lunch in Toronto!

The food was so fresh and flavorful. The sourdough bread was 😍😍😍😍My hubby and I shared the Niçoise salad and the Mediterranean platter. I thought the salad was going to be an actual fresh tuna steak based on the price of $27 but I still really enjoyed it. Will be back to try more menu items
Wonderful restaurant, tasty food, a bit too pricy.

Came here a few months ago with a friend and we were seated on the stools by the entrance. Usually enjoy spots along Ossington, but this was a bit of a let down.
We felt like we were forgotten; we had to stand up and flag down a server after sitting for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs. We both ordered steak frites, which were extremely lacklustre for $49 a pop. Cherry on top, it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before, but this was about to be the first time. Alas, we committed because we needed to be somewhere after and wouldn’t have time to wait anywhere else.
Overall, not worth your time, money, or stomach’s real estate. Plenty of better options along the street.

Cozy little spot on Ossington. Great for a quick lunch visit, highly recommend the club sandwich and the coffee! Definitely going to stop by to try more of the menu.
There is street parking all around, it can be a bit tricky to find a spot but there is also a Green P nearby.
