I enjoy supporting small businesses and appreciate their low-end price. However, the food quality is quite disappointing. We ordered the ton don, curry don and hormone yakisoba. The curry don was ok but the other two were too salty and watery, making the texture of the noodles and rice weird. I hope they improve in quality.

I've been here a couple of times in the past and have been frequenting the place for lunch lately after I re-discovered their delicious curry udon. It is extremely savory with a touch of sweetness that is not overpowering, though I recommend to add extra beef as the normal protein portion is not that large. Not to worry as the price is very cheap! The udon is so warm and comforting and delicious even on a hot day. I prefer it over the curry rice, which I think has a slightly sweeter flavor, basically like normal Japanese curry (but still an extremely good version)
I recommend also their tuna ochazuke. The salty grilled rice with the flavor of green onion is an absolute textural delight as one side of the onigiri is left crunchy and crispy while the other soaks up the delicious broth. It's more worth it than the yakionigiri in my opinion, and a lovely choice on a cold day.
On a hot day, be careful where you sit. Some areas will make you sweat out every drop of liquid you have.

Very Japanese food provided like yakisoba and onigiris. Options go all the way from salad to mains at very reasonable price, very budget friendly. Pretty convenient for anyone around the area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Very affordable Japanese light eats. The Udon was surprisingly good! On the other hand, the yakisoba and takoyaki were kinda meh. However, given the price, there's no going wrong in this place. Portion is just right. Will come back again.

Manpuku serves Japanese cafeteria-style food. It's a different experience from the ramen and sushi spots people normally think of. The space is a little cramped. Just keep that in mind if you want to bring a large group of people here.
The biggest selling point for worker bees and students alike is the really afforable pricing here. For what you pay, you get a lovely filling meal. I recommend any of the udon, for which there are vegetarian options.

Yummy cheap Japanese comfort food. Whenever I drop by this food court, there’s always so many choices to choose from but I always go back to Manpuku because you can’t go wrong with Japanese comfort food.

This place was packed, and for a good reason. We ordered ochazuke, hotate rice, and takoyaki! I was welcomed with a warm taste from the takoyaki and their gooey insides. As for the ochazuke, I loved the crispiness of the rice, topped with the strong seasoning.
The food was freshly made, hence the lengthy preparation time, but it was worth the wait. Employees were friendly despite the rush hour.
The prices are fair (and fairly cheap) for their portions. Would come again.

Been here numerous times since it opened many years ago. First time enjoying their ramen. Manpuku has an extensive menu with many items not typically found at other Japanese restaurants.
I ordered the Manpuku ramen which at $8.99 is a fantastic deal. Choice of either pork or beef.
I ordered the beef and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Especially for a restaurant that does not specialize in ramen.
Came topped with green onions, 1/2 sized boiled egg, slivers of ginger and maybe slivers of menma (marinated bamboo). Not 100 % sure. The beef was cooked like beef teriyaki. As you can see in the second photo, the ramen was very good. If you are in the area, you have to try the ramen plus many of their other items.
