I usually love Marble Slab, and my family and I have always had great experiences at other locations, so this was disappointing — especially since it was our first visit to this one. We stopped in to celebrate my mom’s birthday and tried to redeem her birthday reward through the app, which seemed to be down or glitching that day.
When we asked a staff member (who said she was a manager) for help, she repeatedly told us it wasn’t her problem and didn’t offer any assistance. After I asked if there was at least a contact number we could call, she eventually gave us one, but it wasn’t in service.
I completely understand that technology can fail — it wasn’t about the ice cream. It was the dismissive attitude that made the experience feel unpleasant. After reading other reviews, it seems customer service may be a recurring issue at this location so I thought it was worthwhile sharing our experience.

I went in to get my birthday cone, and I received excellent service from Neetu! I will definitely be back to get some more ice cream.

Visited on November 29th around 9pm. I’ve been to this shop multiple times and have always had good experiences but I’ve never encountered the girl who was working that night, and she had a serious attitude problem. She served me without saying a single word about the store being closed, took my payment (and tip), and only after that told me I couldn’t sit because they were closed. If you’re closed, say so before taking someone’s money.
She was dismissive, rude, and made the whole interaction unnecessarily uncomfortable. Also, Google clearly says the store closes at 10pm, not 9pm, so I had no reason to think I was there after hours.
Really unprofessional. Management might want to look into who they’re hiring, because this was the worst service I’ve ever received here.

Today is the last time I will be coming to this marble slab. The staff are not welcoming at all especially the man who is usually there. They are dismissive and super cheap on the mixin options I asked for graham crackers and I got a three crumbs. I am surprised they are still in business. Ive only gone here because its my closet location anytime I am further away from the city I make it a point to go to a marble slab better quality better service better everything. This location also doesn't offer a washroom which is in bad taste that they closed it down. I am sure they get many kids and parents know kids need a washroom on a whim. All other marble slab locations for kid size ice cream they allow multiple mix ins who can say no to a kid? they can! don't go here save your money for another location.

The lady at the shop was sweet. Even though they didn't have the bubblegum flavour as it was the first day out-of-season, she was very happy to offer me my free birthday cone. I was very pleased! Will definitely be coming back next May when the bubblegum flavour is back!

We had 7 kids for an ice cream cupcake refresher after another activity. The owners were lovely - I called a few days in advance to place the order (including some vegan cupcakes) and everything was ready when we got there. The kids all loved their ‘cupcakes’. Recommend!

I love marble slab. Unfortunately when I came here today, after mixing my regular go to, I wasn't able to enjoy it because the pineapple that was mixed in was fermented and spoiled. I let the staff know and was offered an extra scoop of ice cream which wouldn't have helped, so I declined. But nothing else was said. The staff didn't even taste the pineapple to confirm. I hope my stomach doesn't get upset. I was really looking forward to my ice cream as well. 😩
