Really good slices. Thin and crispy slices with good toppings!
One of my fav spots for a slice in the city. I hope they got rid of the owner though, I hear he was brutal
Very unpredictable hours, used to be open late, now there is no telling.
This place is always closed just it's 2:41pm on Monday and closed

Not authentic italian/ american new york style pizza whatsoever dont be fooled by the pictures or art because it’s definitely nothing close. Also the pepperoni looks like hot dog meat thats not pepperoni
Really bad honestly. Really disappointed with the fact that they tried to make it look like such a traditional italian place but was run by thai immigrants that were running a thai restaurant right next door. If you want real italian/american pizza dont waste your time here. The chicken wings were also very bad. Piece if advice for the restaurant: slice fresh onions long style for your toppings dont put old chopped onions on it just makes the pizza taste bad and please make better wings those are horrible.Edit: i have nothing against thai immigrants or any immigrants for that matter. This country is made on immigrants. I myself am an immigrant. Not intended to be racist in any way. However you’re marketing something that simply isn’t true. Good luck to you as well.
Nice affordable pizza with pop. Overall enjoyed my pepperoni pizza, not bad for a price of 5.50.
June 9, I once more had the great pleasure trekking by TTC bus, subway and streetcar to the great Mare Pizzeria restaurant on Baldwin Street, where the great Lana once more prepared yummy, fresh and absolutely delicious medium 1 topping pizza and two topping pizza slice, that with taxes totaled just under $26.00 The very talented Lana was at her brilliant best once again in her pizza making skills and her usual exemplary customer service skills towards me and other customers coming into the restaurant. I was very impressed with an elderly woman who came in with a walker and sat herself down at a table to eat her pizza slice cut in half & looked like was thoroughly enjoying her meal. Brought my whole pizza and slice back home via TTC and both as usual were even slightly warm upon arriving at home. BOTH did not lose yumminess and taste, when pizza and slice were both heated up in the oven. Can't wait for the next pizza adventure trek to Mare Pizzeria (:

Best pizza and veal sandwiches we've had yet! We found this little place in Kensington one day and decided to try a couple of veal sandwiches. They were terrific, tasted great, large pieces, not dry, flavourful sauce, fresh bun. So we tried their pizza the next day. It was also fantastic. The vegetables on it (green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes), tasted fresh, like you were eating a salad. The sauce was flavourful (again), not salty, crust was excellent. This a great place with great food, a hidden gem.
Excellent pizza, I get a slice each time I'm in Kensington market.
Solid pizza joint, been around for ages and very decently priced. Always have quick service!
High quality, tasty sandwiches, worth the money.
of Mare Pizza last nite..Once again it way worth TTC bus, subway and streetcar 2 HR round trip from Bathurst-Sheppard area of North York to pick up Medium 1 topping pizza and 1 Medium topping Panzerotti with taxes invluded for EXACTLY $20 taxes included. Still best value and scrumptious tasting pizza and panzerotti in Toronto and GTA, by fat. Lana and Giovanni who work at Mara very friendly and cordial to customers. Olive oil is available to sprinkle on your food orders, making pizza and panzerotti that much more delicious Crust - home made by a machine churning away in front of the pizza ovens while u wait so it's ALL WAYS fresh and not frozen - sauce and cheese absolutely delicious cruncy and savoury all the time. Get down to Mare ASAP and say hello to Lana and/or Giovanni for me ad I look forward to picking up another great Italian meal(s) in the near future (:
