I used to love this restaurant when it was Marked. It had a chic and well-thought-out concept with an uplifting vibe that paired perfectly with its incredible menu. The desserts, cocktails, and tapas were always top-notch, making it one of my favorite spots for dinner. But since rebranding to Runway 06, everything has gone downhill—and my experience at brunch today confirmed that.

First, the ambiance. The charm and sophistication of the old restaurant are gone. The space now feels unfinished, with remnants of Marked still visible—old logos on dishes and at the entrance—making it clear the transition wasn’t fully executed. The cleanliness also left much to be desired.

The brunch itself was chaotic and confusing. There was no mention of the "club-like" atmosphere upon arrival. We came expecting a pleasant brunch, not a deafening party. The music was so loud I couldn’t hear the waitress or even hold a conversation with my friend. It felt more like a poorly executed after-party than a brunch. There were no quieter spots to escape the noise, leaving us with no choice but to eat and endure the ear-splitting music.

Marked used to have some of the best dishes in Toronto—the ceviche was a personal favorite—but the brunch menu at Runway 06 was a huge letdown. The tartelettes were soggy, likely pre-prepared, and the salmon didn’t look fresh, with a dried-out texture. While the steak and mushroom balls were decent, the rest of the meal was overpriced for such mediocre quality. Even the churros, which I used to adore, were crisp toburn, really disappointing.

To top it off, we were informed beforehand that gratuity was included in the brunch price. However, when we received the check, gratuity was added on top—completely misleading and frustrating.

I’m truly disappointed by what this restaurant has become. It feels like the identity, quality, and experience that made it special are all gone.

The corn ribs are always so good, second time coming back for them. I didn’t enjoy the sirloin much, i didn’t expect it to be cold cut meat. The chicken wings are very light and delicious too. The sauces on the foods are the best part.

Definitely a “need to go” place! Everything, from the time you get seated was amazing. Food so good! Sax player, so good! Dancers both gorgeous people and interactive! Such a vibe! I’m definitely going back.

we ended up not eating in this place so my review is not about the food. The place is beautiful, nice bar and tables.
We went for brunch, first they have no idea who is gonna serve you, we had 3 different waiters/waitresses coming to our table with same info saying they’re gonna serve us.
It was already a menu on the table with no price (these days you wanna know how much you’re spending even in high end restaurants) and it didn’t have that much options to choose from. We asked from our waitress, she was like pushing us to order from that menu which we found out it’s some sort of all you can eat for over $100 each person. And my husband just asked if there is another menu with for example egg Benedict or other brunch options she rolled her eyes and said ooooh you mean “alla carta!!” Menu. She brought it and again pushed the all you can eat with a loud voice repeating that the second menu is “alla carta” !!! With her attitude we left for anotger place
I’m sure this place is a great place for dinner (as I read in other reviews) but a biiiig no for brunch! They are a lot options in Toronto and people don’t need attitude for “alla carta” menu
By the way I studied Italian and alla carta just means on the card, there is nothing fancy about it ☺️

Food was really good but quite expensive. Service was friendly but slow. Fortunately we were not in any kind of hurry. Dinner ended up taking about 3 1/2 hours. But that's ok cause it was a whole night out. What I didn't expect was the fun burlesque show. It was entertaining and completelt unexpected as it does not mention it on their website anywhere.

This place was confusing af in every aspects. Charged on one bill with party of 6 for 20% tip when we didn’t even know who was serving us. Usually it’s 7-8 ppl and up so it made no sense. Food was awfully bland. Drink was disappointing (20$) and the entertainment was cheap basic unoriginal and disappointing stripper show with confusing mashup music and confusing theme of pilot meets Christmas theme meets lipsyncing burlesque like just everything was a mess lol.

The lighting made the food even look worse and I couldn’t see what I was eating in bright red or green lights. Was seated in front of this nude dancer for my friends bday party and just throughly confused from beginning to the end.

I’m so glad I’m leaving this city soon. Toronto has become one big blob of disappointment. Sad.

I thought their brunch was incredible. They had high quality Prosecco, dancers as the entertainment, the food was great, and the service was also great! I never had to look for my waiter, there was always a fresh bottle on our table, and the restaurant was beautiful. It was literally the best turn up brunch I’ve been to and I will be coming back again whenever I’m in Toronto.

The experience overall was ok. But the food and drinks came out at inconsistent times. We had to ask about several things we ordered a few times. Our server said she gave our birthday girl complimentary churros, yet they were on the bill and I didn't notice until after we left. I would give it a second chance.

The restaurant was great, but when we showed up we were informed that the restaurant no longer uses OpenTable and we actually have no reservation.

My friend was looking forward to us trying the restaurant as she's a big fan of the brunch. I got there first about 15 minutes early for the reservation. While waiting for my friends no one approached me at the table, the second guest came 15-20 minutes after me and still no one approached us. Finally our server came to our table & took our orders. Appetizers came out, tasted good. Our dinner took quite a long time to come. One dish of the lamb shank & mashed potatoes was cold and it was sent back for the kitchen. The second time the lamb was a bit warmer but the potatoes were still cold. My friend ended up packing it up (she did say it was good the next day). Our sever was friendly but was pretty absent throughout the night. We had to ask 3 times for water (every table had a water carafe but ours). Overall we were disappointed with our night out at Runway06.
