There’s not a lot else around this spot, so if this isn’t your kind of place, maybe bring something with you just in case.
Stopped in for a quick coffee, sat at the bar for a bit. No one really acknowledged me at first — felt like I was just kinda there, waiting.
Then this younger guy started his shift (I think) and the whole energy changed. Super calm, greeted me right away, and actually asked how I liked my coffee — cream, sugar, the works. Didn’t expect much at first, but he really delivered. Smooth, balanced, and better than I thought it’d be.
Also saw how he handled another guest nearby — treated her like a queen, respectful and chill without trying too hard.

They’ve really stepped up the restaurant because of all of their bad reviews. The man working let us borrow his charger, he brought out our food in the lounge area outside of the restaurant and the food was actually really good

Shantel is one of the nicest cashiers I’ve ever spoke with. She ensures all her costumers are taken care of and is very polite.
I’m the only person here and I was told that it would be 15 min for any of the breakfast items even oatmeal. How could an airport kitchen be that slow? Staff are wandering around in slow motion. There’s one guy here just standing and pacing back and forth the dining room. How about getting a more practical menu for travelers? Training staff to realize people at airports are in a rush? Coffee was terrible and the espresso machine is out of service. They charge a fee for using a credit card. YTZ management needs to replace this place asap.

Please don’t order anything from this place. Worst oat latte ive ever had & scalded my tongue on it as it was 1000 degrees hot. Wish I read other reviews before buying urgh
