Smelled great from the street which is what enticed me in - sadly didn’t entirely measure up to that first impression.Got the cod and fries. Three reasonably sized pieces of cod, fish was good but batter was overdone and too crispy. Fries were of the tiny shoestring variety and were too hard and crunchy. Spoonful of coleslaw was mostly buried somewhere under it all. Portion was generous but didn’t like the fries enough to finish them.Compared to the best in the city, past (Penrose) and present (Sea Witch), merely ok. Not a patch on proper fish and chips from a shop in the UK. That said, they also do stuff like lobster rolls and fish tacos which I’m curious to try.

My family and I had a very decent dinner here. The place is clean, the servers are very polite and the food is good. I had calamari over a salad instead of chips and I am glad I did that. With the fresh salad and the fried calamari combination, I felt I was somewhere in the Mediterranean.

Ordered the Ahi Tuna steak with salad. A fair price for the food but had relatively slow service. The tuna was slightly too salty for me but had the rich taste you would get from a steak (with all its seasonings)

We tried the fish and chips - halibut and haddock. We though over 42$ was a bit atrocious compared to considering the ambience, plastic cups of tartar, and, having to walk up to the cashier to ask for water even though we ordered dine-in.The fish was tasty for sure, so if you’re a fan of fish and chips - recommend trying it out.

Scotia Plaza Location - Very disappointed. Ordered the Mahi Mahi. Received 3 small pieces of fish that was so overcooked it had the texture of overcooked chicken and was completely flavorless. Rice was crunchy in parts. $22 with drink - will not return nor recommend.

Had lunch here while visiting the amazing St. Lawrence Market, which is right across the street. It was our first time eating here and I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the variety of menu items and the quality of the food. I had the delicious grilled salmon and fries. Very generous portion, perfectly cooked, and fries were great. Husband ordered halibut and chips. Two pieces of fish, which was almost all fish (see pic), in light, crisp batter. Great lunch!

I usually go to Buster Sea cove at the St.Lawrance Market. However, they are closed for renovations. I ordered a red snapper meal with fries. I will be honest it was HORRIBLE. The snapper smelt fishy, and fries were soggy and raw, and it took over 20 minutes to prepare. I won't go back to this location.

- Reasonable priced grilled seafood with a good amount of proportion ($30-$40 per person). - Halibut is a bit bland and dry, still tastes good - Lobster bisque is a little salty but creamy - Seafood platter has great variety, swordfish is flavorful, calamari is soft, would recommend
