One of the best diners out there. Tried the Spanish Omelette and Southwest Benny. Both were utterly gobsmacking. Will definitely visit again.

Service was not good. Waitress messed up four different things on our orders and then tried to argue about one of the menu items she served to us because “she knows what she wrote down was what we ordered”. Honestly, she looked like she needed a smoke break. Ladies’ bathroom toilet is so close to the stall door that your feet stick out onto the other side. I was not impressed with the state of the place or the service so I would never recommend this place, nor would I return. The only regret I have is that I left the waitress a tip because she didn’t deserve it.

So I just came to visit Toronto and the cab driver recommended place. I was very excited but 5 minute into my visit I was just shocked with the energy of the place. I could hear the chef yelling at some of the employees and even made them pick up the food from the floor and put it back in some kinda of basket I believe,I couldn’t see ,but anyway I left immediately without ordering because in my opinion that’s unacceptable. Everyone please stay away and call health inspection
Literally always here (at least once a week). Food is great, staff are great, Mac and Cheese varietals are insane(ly great). Also, I was like “Famous bran muffins? How good can a bran muffin possibly be?” Extremely good, as it turns out. I ❤️ Mars.

Had late breakfast for four on Nov 23/2025. It was our second visit in five years. We were seated quickly despite it being busy and the food and service were great. We rarely eat out anymore because we almost always walk away disappointed at sub-par food quality, portion, service, price, cleanliness etc. Happy to say MARS is none of that.

Classic diner experience and we loved it! The wide selection of well prepared food served by a friendly server. We had Avocado Toast served with two perfectly poached eggs and we had an order of Toast, Eggs, delicious hash browns.
I would (and will!) return for lunch or dinner sometime soon.
