It’s nice to find a place where you can taste home, food is amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I love how nice it looks inside too.

Dropped in last Friday for a sandwich as we were in the neighborhood. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. The person I was with got their sandwich after waiting 20 minutes. Said it was good, fresh and tasty. My sandwich (tuna on whole wheat-no changes) wasn’t ready. No one came over to explain what the delay was about. After waiting over 30 minutes, we asked for the bill, the waitress advised that my sandwich was being made and would be ready in 5 minutes. I said I no longer wanted it, she said it could be put in a to-go container, I said no thank you, no longer want it. She didn’t apologize or explain why it was taking over 30 minutes to put some tuna salad on bread. No explanation, no apology. Not sure if a manager was on site that day, if they were on site, terrible customer service, sadly.

as a fellow eastern european the food was fine but nothing special. didn’t see the owner but the reviews i’ve read about her are extremely concerning.

The staff was very friendly and quick to answer questions, after ordering one of the staff came over and brought us a small plate of some samples of their salads they offer alongside the food we had ordered. It’s definitely a cute gem, fairly priced with fresh ingredients and a very comforting environment.

So sad to see what is happening to this place. I loved the food and the people there. The owner has been drunk every one of my three last visits and was asking me and my friends if we are planning to get married and touching them. She also was yelling at her staff. I don't know what kind of thing is happening in her life but I truly loved the cafe and I liked talking to her before this started. I wish her and the cafe the best.

UPD it’s been a year. I came to read the reviews to see if it changed but apparently not.

Very bad chicken sandwich. The snitzel was basically inedible. I couldn't even cut it with a knife. I told the server who told the other staff, all I got was dirty looks. I then met the owner on the street,as I didn't even know she was the owner, I told her about my experience. She walked into Janchenkos bakery and didn't respond. I understand the two businesses are connected. Very disappointed as I love Ukrainian food...when it's prepared properly. Too bad. Avoiding this in future.
