Took one bite of Mary Macleod’s Dutch Chocolate Shortbread and suddenly questioned all my life choices—why haven’t I been eating these sooner? Buttery, chocolatey, only 3g of sugar… basically health food, right?
Delicious shortbread chocolate chip cookies!!
I love this place, never I could have a complain
I went to their location and it was closed. Looked in the window. There was no store. There was a sign that said No Walk Ins. What a waste of my time. Was expecting what is advertised. Wish I took a picture. I was surprised. Very disappointed
I received Mary Macleod's gluten free shortbreads as a gift. They are amazing! I can't believe they are gluten free. I highly recommend these cookies.
Purchased these for the holidays as a special treat for myself and the kids. When I opened it, I discovered that not only were there a lot of broken cookies, the jar was cracked near the lid. I was hoping it wasn’t as bad as it was but when I removed the lid, the glass fell inside and on the counter. Most cookies had pieces of glass on it so they weren’t safe to eat. We were all so disappointed. I sent an email and also called and left a message and no one has responded. Quite disappointed in the service and delivery of these cookies.
Love it…

My absolute favourite short bread brand!! They’re my go-to for Christmas cookies when hosting during the holidays and also a great addition to gifts. The maple crunch and chocolate crunch are my faaavourites. Highly recommend trying!!

Highway Robbery Pricing!!
I purchased a box of Double Chocolate Shortbread cookies at my local Indigo/Chapters along with many other items. I wasn't until I got home that I looked at my bill. That small box has 6 shortbread cookies, each cookie is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and the box cost 12$. That' 2$ per cookie! I was flabbergasted! That is highway robbery pricing for a mediocre cookie. I won't be buying Mary Macleods cookie again at this price especially since I can get delicious shortbread at a much more reasonable price.

Tried the double chocolate and chocolate chip shortbread cookies and found them to be on the drier side. They didn’t really melt in your mouth. They are not bad, but also not the best shortbread I have had.

Just purchased the Dutch Chocolate shortbread with an exp/date of Sept 30'24 at Whole Foods and they where rather uninspiring. Good shortbread should have a buttery flavor with slight crumble and melt in you mouth. These did non of the aforementioned as they tasted more like butter flavored lard with no melt and seemed stale. Complete disappointment! Sadly they're not cheap, $12. for a 77g container - absolutely not worth the premium price. Very attractive packaging makes you believe its going to be 'high end' product however, its not. Would not repurchase or recommend
The best shortbread cookies I've ever had
A must try, you won't be disappointed.

Purchased their cookies in Woodstock, Vermontat the farmers markets. I was hesitant because most shortbread cookies DO NOT meet my standards. They caught my eye because of the gorgeous packaging and I got sucked in. I purchased the Dutch Chocolate shortbread.???♀️ So delicious. ? Light, buttery, not too sweet and they melted in our mouths. I will seek these out forever.Nancy in Pa. Ps: if I have to travel the 6 hours to get them again. I think ? I will. #addicted
