Mashion has been my absolute favorite Chinese buns restaurant in the entire city for years. they have a lot of variety, the buns are cooked fresh daily, and the service is always very kind. I've been going here for over 5 years and won't stop anytime soon. they're an affordable, delicious, local hidden gem. can't recommend Mashion enough!!

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to dairy and can confirm nothing here has ever upset my stomach. There's stuff with cheese I sadly avoid but everything that doesn't explicitly say it has dairy has been fine for me.

Old school deliciousness at excellent prices. Their deep fried sesame balls, especially when you can get them warm, are heaven. Friendly service too.

It’s a small bakery but I went to get some pastry egg tarts and they were so delicious! Not too sweet which was perfect, but there was a good pastry to egg custard ratio. Decadent and scrumptious! Highly recommend. Make sure to bring cash!

It’s cheap and delicious, so I’ve been eating it for a year, but today for the first time, I have hair strands (different from my hair color), and I have some diaphragm. Please pay more attention when making bread in the future.

This place is the best for pastries both savory and sweet! Ever since the first time trying it out, I have been completely and utterly hooked! I especially love their curry buns and BBQ pork buns! They're amazing! The staff is kind and helpful as well. Also, their prices and more than reasonable. Great place for a quick snack! Love it!

Parking: Located on Spadina at Nassau. There is limited paid street parking available but it is easily accessible via transit/on foot.

WAY EASY LIFE

I went in just to get a taro egg yolk moon cake. Surprisingly it was not too sweet ( which I love!!! ) I am health conscious and don’t like anything too sweet. It was fresh and the size of the moon cake is reasonable for the price. I will definitely try other items next time. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love their Taro pastry! It’s always fresh, perfectly made, and has just the right level of sweetness. Plus, it’s super affordable, so I can’t resist grabbing one (or two) whenever I pass by!

Food was bland. The service was okay and the atmosphere could be better. Can easily find better options in chinatown.
