Amazing pizza and sandwiches. Great lunch spot and family friendly dining. Also little shop in the back full of top shelf pantry staples
Best bread, sandwiches, salads and pizzas in the city. Hands down. Mattachioni is one of those restaurants that never disappoints. Always consistent and delicious.
one of my favourite spots in the city, I’ve come here for years. The sandwiches are my favourite, incredibly fresh, great portions. I always finish with a cappuccino and cannoli. I also often come solo as a treat to myself, the staff are so lovely and make the environment so comfortable.
great sandwiches, the mortadella is mouth watering, great tiramisu ! great atmosphere. I think their prepared foods to go change but def a good spot
Been going here since it opened. The pizza and the food is one of the bests in the city. The spot is worth every penny and I love this for the local.
Our sandwich was pretty plain - lots of mayo, very little meat, not much flavour. It was served on a thick cut of bread which itself was pretty good but made for a very mediocre sandwich. And a very bad value as it comes close to $20. I wouldn't bother going here.
First time visit for a weekday lunch. It was busier than expected but service was fairly fast. A simple restaurant with great food. Delicious prosciutto sandwich. Looking forward to trying the pizza next time because it looked and amazing
Delicious sandwiches!
Always incredible. Their sourdough is my favourite in the city. And thus, their sandwiches are also excellent. Lots of other things to choose from, but the S. Carlito is something I crave regularly. Yum!
Been craving a Porchetta sandwich from here and have had their version often. A beef sandwich came floating around instead and was returned. What came to my table later as a Porchetta truly was a few over-fried pieces of old dry pork between probably those returned slices of toast. Almost like chef revenge. This is a standard I might expect at an infrequently used train station. They explained that they roast pork only twice a week. What? Quite a reason. So disappointed.

I went here with a friend for lunch and we ordered the olives and bread, burrata salad and prosciutto sandwich. Everything was fresh, full of flavour and so satisfying. The bread was all the house made sourdough, which is beautiful in texture and flavour. The atmosphere was chill, relaxed, comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive. Their wine selection is fantastic. I would highly recommend this spot!
Great pizzas and sandwiches. Their homemade bread is to die for!
Little place with awesome wood fire pizzas. Can't go wrong !
Everything was delicious. We ordered pizzas and a few appetizers and the all blew us away.
I wish I was being dramatic but we had to wait 40 minutes for two cold panini sandwiches during a super slow period (no other guests in the restaurant). The sandwiches/ paninis are mainly bread, for $20 each it’s quite a let down. Not ideal for lunch if you’re in a crunch.
