food was excellent, but the service was just ok. The woman was quite unhappy and not entirely the most pleasant. was quite pricey, but the food was fantastic. I would come here for the food alone.

Went here to have lunch and meet up with an old friend I hadn't seen in a long time, we ended up staying for many hours and the wait staff didn't pressure us or make us feel unwelcome after a few hours. In fact the service was brilliant. The atmosphere and aesthetic was unpretentious and homey, and the food was good, although only a few vegetarian options Great service tho! Thank you!

I have come here for years and will continue to come here. The food is always incredible and full of flavour, the staff is always so nice and friendly and we always have a good time here. Shoutout to head chef Gio, he kills it everytime!

Came for dinner and my friend and I shared a sandwich, pizza and salad. It was all very fresh and delicious! They offer free sourdough starter to take home and since then I've been making my own sourdough.

Best bread in the city, and everyone was so friendly!Kid-friendliness: Multiple high chairs and lots of toddlers, babies, and kids were there with family.

Best sourdough ever! Also, their butter tarts are some of the best in the city, if not, the best.

I made a $400 order with gratuity in October for pickup. The 2 large salumi in the order were unfortunately 40mins late and despite being the same cost each, only one order came with bread. I reached out to understand what exactly happened and I've been waiting for a response from Alex Draper-Millan since Nov 7. All I asked was what the large salumi order is supposed to be to understand why only one salumi had bread and why it was late. I'm extremely disappointed with the service.

This used to be our go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. Recently, we ordered 3 pizzas for takeout - and they came with more crust than middle (see picture). We contacted Mattachioni and just never heard back. We will be switching to north of Brooklyn as our go-to after this.

Sourdough bread is fantastic. Go early in the day because they do sell out.. The round seeded sourdough had good heft and weight, a 2pounder for sure. The bread is best cut into thick slices slathered with butter, lol.I will def go back for a meal because if the bread is this good, you know the sandwiches will be amazing. Excellent customer service from Emily. Thank you!
