Went here for a dinner date with my lady. Superb food, great service, and very home-y. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you have the chance. Spent around $120+tip for 4 plates total. They recommend 5 plates, but 4 was enough for us.

We had dinner there for Valentines day. They were amazing. The chicken schnitzel was by FAR the best I have ever had. Living in Nashville we don't have the opportunity to eat there often...but we will be there the next time we are in Canada!

I went for dinner, had the Short Ribs and Duck confit. They were both delicious and perfectly cooked. Love this place.

I had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered came out perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, the kind of place where you can relax and really enjoy your time. Definitely coming back and recommending this spot to friends and family!

Came to Maven Toronto for a quick drink before heading to Rasa across the street, and my wife and I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The drinks were 10/10, and the service at the bar was exceptional. We’re looking forward to experiencing a full meal at Maven soon.
Kudos to the owner and management for running such a well-led and inviting restaurant!

Service was immaculate, the atmosphere was great as well. Staff were super friendly. The challah and the butter were the highlight, the rest of the food was fine.

Really wanted to love it here, unfortunately everything fell flat. It was good not great and none of the dishes were remarkable.
The dinner felt quite rushed, we weren’t offered any additional drinks.
Dessert was well below average, it tasted like burnt olive oil (chocolate mousse).
Wouldn’t return but was glad I tried it.

Surprised that the reviews (4.9!!! at time of writing) were so high, so came in with big expectations. It was reasonably priced, in fairness.
Food. Was a little disappointed, everything was ‘okay’ except the chicken schnitzel which was very good. Menu is set out as small plates, when in reality most were side dishes and cannot be eaten on their own. If we’d known this up front, we’d have ordered differently. Instead we ordered 5 dishes, three came out together and we were done it 45 minutes. Not much of a night out.
Dessert was a bit of a problem. Only two options, a non-bake cheesecake and mousse which implies there isn’t really a pastry chef. Mousse was very average, sorry.
Atmosphere, is fine but a bit meh. It’s fine but no real vibe. Old music playlist of classic songs etc on a Friday night. Nothing original or distinctive.
Service. Really nice staff and pretty attentive but we felt rushed and once we’d finished a drink we had to flag someone down.
Has potential to be good, but having been to Libby’s recently, this place isn’t close to that level yet.
