Enjoying my first ever KAAPI here on College just west of Ossington. Beautiful cozy ambience. Soft warm music. Great playlists. Perfect light. 8 tables to choose from. Calm and inviting. Special place in this busy city of ours.
Cozy spot to sit and enjoy authentic South Indian snacks. The filter coffee was really good—strong and flavorful—and the masala vada was perfectly crispy. I even ordered a second cup of coffee, but it didn’t taste quite the same as the first one. Would’ve loved to stay longer, but the ladies sitting next to us was very loud, so we left earlier than planned. Still, a nice place overall for good coffee and bites.
I have been going to this place since before they rebranded it to Mayil and I will always take everybody I know here too!
The vibe of the cafe is very cozy, warm and you would love to sit here for hours without getting bothered. My favourite corner is next to the shelfs at the armchair. I've been here with my boyfriend for random kaapi dates when I miss home a little extra and also with my girlfriends for a fun cafe day. They have games to keep you entertained...
