Came with my coworkerAnd the female receptionist tried to steal designer sunglasses from my coworker. It was just an uncomfortable experience won’t be back again. The customer service is nonexistentHaven’t had any of the food so I’m not sure, but there’s other food places in the path that’s good

Just wanted to give a shout out to this location for its wonderful customer service! I have always enjoyed my visits in between jobs and on break and my belly always leaves full. I love the whole cafe team, but Josh in particular, always makes sure my latte is on point and my ice tea comes nice and chilled. I am grateful for the extra care he takes to ensure my drink is always perfect and i have a snack to go with it. Thanks everyone for always making my days better, especially the long ones. I am very grateful.

I became very sick & threw up ? from the egg & tuna small packaged sandwiches, which cost over $15Can dollars. Otherwise it's really a great place to shop. Never experienced such a bad night. I will still shop at McEwan TD.

Sorry ever other coffee place down town but McEwan is always my go to for all things caffeinated. Smooth and friendly service are central perks as well.

I have been getting my morning coffee here for years, and I must say the folks at the coffee bar are amazingly efficient and friendly. My day wouldn't be right without seeing them -- and the coffee is excellent!

Nitro Cold Brew is not what it seems, and tastes off, like its gone bad. Generally all things are pretty good at McEwan, prices are a bit high, but the location is convenient. This was my second time trying the $8.99 Nitro Cold Brew - first time it was a little acidic, and tasted a bit off, and had ice added. I assumed it was them getting up to speed on using the new equipment, getting the serving temp right etc. A couple weeks later I thought I'd try it again. While waiting for a food item, I was able to watch them make my Nitro Cold Brew - they started by adding a large amount of ice to the cup, then pouring in room temp regularly brewed coffee into the cup before topping off (and I mean maybe 25% of the liquid in the cup) from the Nitro Cold Brew taps. When I was handed the drink I asked the server why they added regular room temp coffee (usually used when you order an Ice Coffee). And was told that is the way a Nitro Cold Brew is made. I responded that most places I have received a Nitro Cold Brew from use only Cold Brewed coffee from a keg infused with Nitrogen, chilled to the right temp, so no need for adding ice or room temp drip brewed coffee that has been sitting out since 6 AM in a plastic jug. I understand now why the flavour tastes a smidge past its best before date. Also this explains where the acidity and bitterness has come from. I also want to point out that they charge ~$4.50 for a large Iced Coffee and $8.99 for a large Nitro Brew. With only 25% of the cup being actual Cold Brew coffee, they are making a hell of a mark up for the old iced coffee they have laying around that they use to fill the rest of the cup. And the ice - Why would you do that, when it will ruin the Nitrogen effect? Here's a quote from the website of one of the best known makers of Nitro Brew equipment - "Nitro coffee is best served chilled and poured into a tall glass so you can see the beauty of what you are sipping. Some enjoy it in a frosted glass to keep it extra cold, but avoid using ice since it can ruin the effect of the nitrogen. Most people find that it's delicious all by itself."

Tried this recently. the model of charging customers by weight heavily favors the restaurant since there is no weighing scale before the checkout. I tried the food here for the first time and made a lunch which in my view was either less or equal in quantity to other restaurants at Path. At the checkout, the bill came out to be 32$(The only meat items I had were two small pieces of chicken)!! I asked if can reduce the weight or return.. but that wasn't an option. Food was ok, not close to the price I paid for it. There are far better places for that kind of money. Not coming here again.

I wish I can give more than 5 stars (that's maximum) Great atmosphere and wide selection of gourmet ingredients! The checkout is fast too. Very impressed!
