I was a guest at a Summer Kick-Off Party, and the McEwan Food Truck was a total hit! Warren and Felipe were fantastic—not only was the food absolutely delicious, but their great sense of humour and upbeat energy added so much fun to the evening.

The arancini and mac & cheese bites were a standout—crispy, cheesy, and full of flavour. If you’re hosting an event, I highly recommend the McEwan Food Truck, and be sure to request Warren and Felipe. They helped make the night unforgettable!

I can’t say enough good things about Nick in the meat department at Mark McEwan. Every time I walk in, he’s a bright spot in my day. Nick is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but he goes above and beyond in a way that’s rare these days. He’s one of those people who genuinely cares about his work and his customers — and it shows in every interaction.

What stands out the most is how warm and welcoming he is. No matter how busy he is, Nick always stops what he’s doing to greet me with a smile and ask how I’m doing. He even remembers to ask about my elderly mom, which honestly means a lot — that personal touch goes a long way.

There have been so many times when I’ve come in unsure of what I need, and Nick has taken the time to walk me through options, suggest cuts, and even explain the best way to cook them. He doesn’t rush, and he always makes sure I leave confident and happy with my choices. More than once, he’s gone out of his way to check the back or prep something special just because he knew it would help.

It’s rare to find someone who works so hard and still manages to treat every customer like they matter. I always leave with a smile on my face thanks to Nick’s kindness and professionalism. He’s the heart of that meat department, and a big reason I keep coming back.

We’ve partnered with McEwan for years, and they never disappoint. I had the pleasure of working directly with Ann—she was fantastic! The event ran smoothly and was a great success!

Our Easter turkey dinner arrived early neatly wrapped separate containers. Well packaged. The portions were great for the 11 of us who ate the dinner after re-heating. Everything was great - brussel sprouts, veggies, dressing (and gluten ,free dressing), very good salad, turkey was great. We all enjoyed the meal.

Last minute catering order , process was easy and Alyssa was a pleasure to work with. Delivered on time and the food was excellent!

The Turkey dinner was just fantastic it made our Easter dinner complete. We had 13 people over and there was lots leftover for everyone to take some leftovers home. Will definitely use them again as I have in the past when it was my turn to host a holiday dinner. Just love your food.

We ordered the bone in ham dinner for Easter. I had it delivered. Nothing short of amazing. The ham was moist and delicious and each side had its own flair. The scalloped potatoes!!!!!! Also the jus and applesauce were very tasty and really brought out new flavours. The food was packed very well and straightforward instructions. Would most definitely use McEwan Catering again. I used McEwan Catering for our Easter Dinner this year. We had 8 people attending. It was easy to order and the people on the phone were very helpful with my order.
This was my first time using McEwan Catering and I have to say that they were fabulous. The food was outstanding. Instructions for reheating were included. We ordered a whole turkey dinner with all the trimmings. All my guests commented how delicious everything was and I couldn't have cooked it any better.

Would give McEwan Catering a 5 if it wasn’t for my experience with one of their catering contacts recently. I think there is a level of professionalism and etiquette you need to put forward when you’re working for a reputable company like McEwan. I’ve worked for a number of firms where we’ve ordered from this establishment, and today, an interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. Chris, you need to do better sir! When we pay big bucks to cater from McEwan, we expect the service to be great, and we definitely do not like putting down other businesses.

I don't cook very often, and I cater all the holiday meals. I love McEwan Catering!!! I've used them every year for the last 8 + years. Delivery is reasonable and well worth the price. They offer Gluten Free options for many of the items. The gluten free gravy is incredible. Three of us our Celiac.

This is by far my favourite place to go for my catering needs. Only the best!! Instructions for reheating are easy to follow, and we always end up with lots of leftovers.

I've tried other places, and at times I've combined two places. However, I've learned that everything is better at McEwan Catering. My brother is a Culinary Director/Chef, and he also orders from McEwan when in a pinch. You can't go wrong.

I had selected McEwan because they were able to offer a variety of foods to meet a number of dietary restrictions: GF, vegan, nut free. The food was well prepared by the chef who was at our home; it was tasty and plentiful.
My only complaint does not relate to the food but rather to the services, especially on the part of the contact person. When I firt spoke with him about 6 weeks prior to the event, I made a temporary list of item I would need- tables, lines, etc. About 2 weeks prior to the event, I submitted an updated list where I was no longer needing a number of items. This list was totally ignored and I was sent, and charged for items that I had indicated I no longer needed. When I spoke with the representative, he indicated this was his error and told me he would give me a deal on my next order.
I have not used the service again, although I certainly could have on a number of events, because this was not a satisfactory way to resolve my concern.
The food is good, just double check what items are being supplied to your venue.

We catered several parties! The food was fresh and tasted great! The package options were also good for accommodating guests with some restrictions. The take out trays and utensils were all included, for seamless set up!
