McSorley's Wonderful Saloon & Grill

Tldr: A family friendly spot with a large beer selection, decent food, a few arcade games and endless TVs worth the visit.

My partner and I have been looking for a new nacho spot in the area for a bit now (we go somewhere for beer and nachos at least once a month), and I think we found it.

Picture is their base, small sized nachos (sans olives). Size is definitely on point for the price ($15). Cheese and toppings were well distributed, I just wish it came with more salsa and sour cream.

We also decided to split a rack of ribs. Nothing exactly spectacular rib wise in terms of flavour, but they were well sauced and they were wonderfully fall off the bone. That's not saying they were bad, just tasted like a generic sauce. The fries that came with were well cooked and not overly salted. The price was also great, running in at $22 for the rack.

The staff were very attentive, always checking in to make sure we had napkins, enough plate room to keep eating and waters topped up.

Tvs line the walls. I don't think there's a seat in the house that doesn't have a view of more than 2 tvs, a great spot to catch a game, a beer and all the great moments. They've also got a few old arcade games towards the kitchen, which was a nice touch. Beer on tap selection was also great, though my blue moon could have used a larger orange wedge, but now I'm just nit picking.

In the end we went home full, satisfied and with leftovers and money still in our pockets for gelato up the street. We will be going back.

The food was very underwhelming given the price point. Lots of frozen and pre-made products priced as if they are prepared in-house.

This was a nice pub with good food!

The favourite

Busy place and we felt rushed the whole time we were there. The food was mediocre. The schnitzel sandwich was over cooked and greasy (it tasted like the oil needed changing), I should have sent it back, but we were in a hurry, so I didn't. Ended up being very sick for the next two days. Can't say 100% that it was the food (although it's all I'd eaten Friday). We'd go back for drinks but would skip the food.

Visited this place with a bunch of my friends, one of whom had been visiting this place since the 90's. It was nice to experience the vibe of the place. Our hosts were exceptional and the food & drinks were great. Would love to go back again.

Fun, comfortable place to go with friends and take the family. Kids of all ages are welcome. Go a few times and the staff gets to know you. New menu - some of the old favs are no longer available at all times and days

McSorely’s is one of those comfort places where I could walk in, grab a bite and a drink, and leave happily. Diego was my server, he was friendly and thoughtful all night.

Was looking for a place to have sunday brunch. Food was decent for the price, atmosphere is typical cozy bar. Our server Anna was very friendly and welcoming. Has a couple vegan options, but mostly typical bar food.

Went in for a late lunch on Sunday. Place was busy. Turns out everyone else was just drinking - 4 of us ordered meals, and 3 out of 4 were unsatisfied with the meal. Lacked flavour. Chicken Kabobs were very boring. Wings totally lacked any spices. The Catch of the day (fish) was very plain. Enjoy drinks only here, Folks.

The atmosphere was really good. However, the food was the worst I have had in a long time. Only go here for a drink, as there are better places to eat. The Kabobs had no flavour and were served on boring white rice. Very bland. And the chicken wings were awful, and they forgot to put the flavour on them. When mentioned to the waitress, it was in one ear and out the other. Again the prices we pay today to eat out there are definitely better places to go to.
