Incredibly creamy pint of Guinness, especially on a weekend night. A solid pint of Murphy’s as well for those who care. And, funny enough, some of the best poutine I’ve had in this city. Great ambience as well. Cozy, lively, yet not too loud.
We stopped in at McVeigh's because we love local Irish Pubs. The Guinness is flowing along with many other beers adn ciders. Plus live Irish music Friday and Sat nights. Paul (the owner) happened to be working the bar and is awesome! He's super friendly, told us many stories about celebrities visiting, and gave us great suggestions on where to park and eat. I think we ate at 4 of his suggestions!! Thank you Paul! We tell everyone to stop in.

Parking:...
We only stayed for drinks, which we ordered from the bar and carried to our table. The bartender was friendly and served us straight away. I really liked that there was no blaring music, so we were actually able to engage in conversation and hear one another: a rare find these days. I'd go back.
