Place was seriously fun. I've seen it on social media before so when I saw one in Toronto I was psyched! Gotta go in and just have fun with it all. The actors are amazing and the horses beautiful. The entire vibe is just great

Personally, it's not for me. I've been wanting to go for so long now, but I was dissappointed and there is no need for a (VIP) upgrade in my opinion. I really wanted to like it but I couldn't. Our server was really nice though, and he was friendly. The show was boring. The horses were beautiful but I felt bad for them. The performers looked tired and/or bored. The food was terrible. The garlic bread was from the Texas toast bought at Food Basics, the tomato soup was canned for sure. The corn had no taste, the potatoe was seasoned decently but wasn't cooked soft enough. The chicken was, well, let's just say bland. The dessert was probably a Costco bought vanilla cake that they put an eclaire on top of. I didn't even attempt to eat it once my friend didn't like it. I appear to not have been the only one because there was a collosial amount of food (main and dessert) wasted. I won't even talk about the bathroom lines after the show (male and female) and the smell coming from them. Needless to say I'm glad it's off my bucket list. Sorry, but I was highly dissappointed.

Had an awesome time here for a work party. Huge shout out to Jazz who was literally perfect.

Chicken was good, but white meat was a bit dry. Servers didn't know we were a part of a group and make a comment about tips, even though they were pre-paid

What an amazing experience. Believe me when I tell you, this is totally worth it! The staff keeps up, even though it's chaotic! The show is amazing and the food is really good. Drinks are good as well and atmosphere is out of this world.

Food wasn’t the best, especially the vegetarian option, which is what I had.

However, the show was amazing. The horses were so much fun to watch. The staff were so friendly and helpful, which made for a great atmosphere. Overall great experience.

We loved it. We did miss the torture chamber which we would have gone to if we saw it. The food was amazing they give you enough for a meal and left overs. The pageantry of the beginning ceremonies to the starting of the tournament was so much fun to watch and participate in. The start before the show in the hall of arms with all the gift shops and the knighting ceremonies that you can get. The drinks with the souvenir cups for adults and kids to the tiara's for kids and adults. Adult ones can be used again and again. Good quality. The swords and daggers are beautiful and look very heavy. The horses are very majestic and beautiful and the falcon is amazing to watch. Everything here was amazing we had so much fun and both my husband and I got the knighting ceremonies we also got the VIP package there are 3 that you can choose. We bought the queen package. We will be going back. This was my second time and honestly it was just as amazing as my first if not better.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Toronto is an immersive experience that combines theatrical performance, jousting, and a themed medieval banquet. For photographers, it offers a unique opportunity to capture high-energy action, dramatic lighting, and richly detailed costumes in a controlled indoor environment.

The arena is designed to recreate the grandeur of a medieval tournament, with knights on horseback, colorful banners, and audience participation. Action shots abound: jousts, sword fights, and choreographed battles create dynamic moments that are perfect for motion photography, panning shots, and capturing expressive gestures. The vivid colors of the knights’ armor, horses’ barding, and the themed dĂ©cor provide striking visual contrasts for both wide-angle and close-up compositions.

Lighting can be challenging, as the arena is dimly lit with spotlights on the performers. This offers a creative opportunity to experiment with high ISO settings, fast shutter speeds, and dramatic contrasts to capture the intensity and movement of the event. Food photography enthusiasts will also enjoy photographing the medieval-style banquet served on long tables, featuring hearty dishes that complement the overall theme.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is more than entertainment — it’s a chance to capture theatrical action, historical pageantry, and lively audience interactions. The combination of color, motion, and atmosphere makes it an exciting destination for photographers seeking dynamic and visually compelling indoor subjects in Toronto.
