For those who pass by Megumi and aren't sure whether to go in or not, my answer is: go in, because the restaurant is very good.
Megumi isn't a large restaurant, but it has a good dining area, with very nice decor and extremely attentive service.
Depending on the time of your visit, orders may take a little longer due to the busy restaurant and delivery service, but everyone does everything they can to make your experience a great one.
The food prices are very good, and it's definitely worth it for the area.
For customers with disabilities, the establishment doesn't have much walking space, but it's not impossible to move around, and it's even possible to fit wheelchairs and walkers at the tables. The restaurant has a bathroom adapted for customers, with ample space for use. Unfortunately, the store doesn't have a Braille menu, but they do have a digital menu, so you can transfer the menu to apps for assistance.
The food is very good and the service is excellent; it's definitely worth trying.

Come to try their new menu, Nikutama udon. The flavors of the dish are truly exceptional and well-balanced. The service provided by the staff is consistently excellent, creating a pleasant dining experience. I will return with my friends.

I order uber eats,,,and I found a small plastic piece in my food.
At first, it was just a small piece so I thought it could be accident, but while I keep eating it, I found bigger pieces in my mouth…
It’s really concerning if the plastic is in the food here and there…
I always order majesoba in here all the time, but it’s ma first time to have this plastic substance in my food… so disappointing..

A wonderful Japanese noodle spot in midtown with so many options! I had a soba that didn’t really have any soup. It had torched pork, ground meat and a poached egg and some heat. It was really nice and different. We also got a pork katsu with curry. Will definitely go back.

First off, if you do not have your Smartphone or data service, you will need to ask for a menu. Scanning the Qrcode works but can be difficult to see everything on the small screen.
The other problem for some is that the confirmation buttons are light pink in colour. This could confuse some as being greyed out and not active. The button should be in a darker colour to avoid confusion.
Lastly, once you click the shopping cart and confirm, an order received message will appear. I would have liked a real staff person to at least reconfirm the order or at minimum confirm receipt in person.
Another note: They play Japanese pop music at listening level and not in the background. Therefore it can get annoying if you do not like this type of music.
I ordered the unagi mazesoba. I was given a choice of ramen or udon noodles. I chose the thin ramen noodles at a medium spice level.
The dish is amazing to look at and also taste great. I really enjoy spicy food but found the medium spice to be at an extra hot level.
The dish comes with crispy wanton strips, unagi, corn, nori, green onions and sesame seeds (black and white).
The unagi meat is sliced but not the skin. Therefore you will need to be skilled with the chopsticks. Lucky for me I was born with a pair of chopsticks.
As you can see in one of the photos, they do have condiments on the table. Chili pepper and also katsuobushi. Nice touch plus other items.
The dish was very flavourful and a joy to eat. I will be back again to enjoy their other dishes.

Came here with a friend for lunch! First time having mazesoba and it was a good experience. The food was good and the staff were nice too! Portion size was good too for the price.
This is my new favorite place to eat in Toronto. I’ve literally gone 3 times in three weeks. The Megumi Mazesoba is amazing, the lemonades are great, the takoyaki is OMG.. as well as the Mochi. I would recommend 100%
Update 2025:
I’ve haven’t been as regular as I once was, but I came back and it was still FANTASTIC. They changed a bit the pork chasu, but this was, increibly, even better than before. (ordered the Megumi Mazesoba)
Paula is also the best. She remembers everyone she has met while eating there, and she makes you feel like part of her family

What a cute and cozy place for some noodles! Met up with a friend here for dinner and I really enjoyed my Torched Salmon Mazesoba noodles. The salmon had a nice caramelized char and the umami flavours of the noodles really hit the spot for me! We also tried their mango cheesecake and their Mochi - both light and not too sweet, which we like!
The staff was attentive and made our experience very enjoyable.
I would definitely be back to try some of their other dishes! Highly recommend checking them out for some delicious noodles.

The noodle is actually delicious but found a metal line in the noodle. I would rate my life over deliciousness.
