Excellent place to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and high quality engaging portuguese food. W Great work. We take our friends and family there all the time.

Beautiful restaurant, service was good. Had the Beira Mar platter, they definitely cheap out on the quality of the food unfortunately. This was very disappointing due to what they charge and you should get the quality and you don't. Was really looking forward to this restaurant and wanted to come back and try more from the menu but very disappointed in the food. They really do a great job with social media and the food looks amazing on instagram but it's just too bad the food does not reflect the price they charge.

Everything we ordered were excellent, and the service was wonderful. The desserts were also very innovative and delicious. However, there was a party going on, and they were doing karaoke-like activities, so it was extremely noisy. Since this was a business dinner, I regret not confirming the atmosphere of the restaurant in advance.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere superb. We mentioned that we were visiting to celebrate a special occasion, but that message didn't seem to be received. We also didn't have the option to choose our seating.Parking was very very limited. Our waitress was very kind and did a great job, definitely going back.

Came here for my birthday and very glad I did! The decor was gorgeous and very homey. The food was amaaaazing I can't get over how delicious it was. It reminded me of being at a family function with the smells the taste and everything. The owner Carlos is super nice and great to talk to as well.

We loved sitting out on the covered patio instead of the main dining room. Access to the restaurant is terrible with construction on Caledonia. The food is FANTASTIC, albeit a little pricey for let's say the shell pasta dish. Every single dish, appetizer was amazing. The tiramisu was different yet it tasted exactly like italian tiramisu. The decor is just great, the washrooms and the walls leading to the washrooms are very nice actually. The service was okay overall. The eclectic selection of dinner and butter plates is rather fun! I will 100% go back because every bite was exquisite.

The food is amazing as always. I especially liked the bolinhos de bacalhau and for dessert the bolo de bolacha. I highly recommend for anyone looking for Portuguese food and for a beautifully decorated and styled restaurant in the city. I look forward for my next dinner experience there.

Usually a staple for special occasions. The restaurant was cool with a draft coming from the patio Food took an hour to be tabled but was good Desert was good Service was fine The menu prices have changed to the higher side and the menu has been shortened as well.

We went in a Sunday so it was quite quiet. They were setting up for an event on the patio and I assume they had less staff on a Sunday. Either way ambience and atmosphere is beautiful. Our server was kind and attentive. Red meats were perhaps a bit over cooked but not horribly. Clams a bit salty but still deliscious and the seafood was cooked perfectly. Loved their squid. A bit over priced but over all it was a good experience. Next time I may opt to stick to ordering more from their tapas menu.

Mercado exceeded our expectations once again. Seafood was superb, made perfectly. One of our guests tried squid and octopus from the seafood platter and has converted to be a seafood lover!! Amazing!! Moced the cod croquettes! The clams in white wine sauce was delicious! Squid & shrimp perfectly cooked and tasty. Octopus cooked perfectly and so tender. Seafood rice was just right and delicious. Everything seasoned perfectly. And the dessert was amazing, Bo de Bolacha. Next best thing to dining in Portugal!!

Excellent Portuguese-style restaurant. Good for a couple or a family. They have tapas that are good for 2-3 people, for a smaller bite. We had the Jalapeno short rib beef on sweet buns. For mains, they have combination platters either seafood braises or some with both seafood and meat. We got the Sinforia for 2 which as a good combo of Tiger Shrimp, octopus, squid and clams in a white wine sauce. The white wine butter sauce is so good, we dipped a lot of things in it. The red braised white shrimp was good too. For a couple, we ordered one tomato rice and no other carbs. We were quite full after. For dessert, we ordered the Pavloka with passion fruit and coconut mousse. The meringue shelling was a bit too sweet for us but still unique and interesting. Overall, amazing freshness and quality for a decent price. Prices are up across of all restaurants but it still represents value compared to similar dining closer to the waterfront.
