Mercantino is an excellent bottle shop with great variety, also doubling as a spot to sit and grab a drink. The snacks are basic but just what you need with a glass of wine. I love stopping by here to catch up with a friend. It’s quiet, great service, and great wines. #SweepstakesEntry #

We've enjoyed coming here for a long time. Tonight, however changed our impression.
The gent that marched in, parked illegally with hazard lights on for over an hour was incredibly rude.
He set himself up with his son with all the technology they had available. He marched around looking at his watch.
It's a sad day when a favorite neighborhood venue treats you like this.
I hope it wasn't the owner...but I fear it was.
Yikes
An undiscovered bar in the east end that is perfect for a quiet drink with friends. It has a mature, relaxed vibe and the wine store in the front gives you the option of choosing drinks to go. Would highly recommend .

Great location! Nice patio and beautifully spacious inside. Great selection of wines. Aperol spritz is amazing and they've started oysters on Saturdays 4 to 6pm. $2 a piece and they are very fresh!! Perfect afternoon

Just stepped in, will have to go back to really evaluate.
Leslieville area is the best Toronto has to offer.

Visited the place the first time with 2 friends. Ordered a coffee and a slice of their lemon loaf to go with it. The coffee was great but the cake was very dry.
What delighted us was the service - we decided to leave a tip after the fact despite the disappointing cake and the spilled milk and getting 3 tablespoons instead of teaspoons for our coffees as requested.

Place reminded us of our first bottle shop restaurant we ate at in Rome on our honeymoon. Well done! Many wine and great cold ready-made section. The hot menu is simple, but delicious. Friendly staff & nice quiet patio.

This little shop is lovely for great wines you can’t find at the LCBO and being in the industry I appreciate that the prices are reasonable. The ready made foods and fresh pastas selections is good too. I absolutely love the tiramisu, it is so delicious with those chocolate pearls that literally melt in your mouth.

A Covid popup that continues, we love this place. No surprise, since we also love Ascari Enoteca, with the same owners. It's always one of the places I go to grab non LCBO wines. I've never gone wrong with anything I've picked. Their tourtieres are fabulous. They come frozen. They carry a whole range of food and pantry items. Just a great little shop!

I love this spot because it is more than a wine bar (which alone is more than enough for me). They have a retail portion with food and wines, and also serve food. I only purchased wine from here but can't wait to go back and have a seat!
Great coffee and comfortable attractive restaurant. Looked like a great wine selection.

Good cappuccino.
When anyone asks me my favourite neighbourhood spot, it’s this one. The perfect spot for a glass of wine, a cocktail or coffee. Great ambiance (and a lovely side street patio). Interesting wines that the staff take the time to explain (and let you sample). Always greeted with a warm smile and welcoming attitude. We need more places like this!
