I had such a great start to my day at this café ☕️
I ordered a latte, and it tasted absolutely amazing, perfectly balanced and rich in flavor, exactly what I was hoping for.

Good service. I like drinking a nicely foamed coffee drink and watch people in the mornings from the window seat.
This place makes the best latte in the city - it's so good. But, to many of the reviews before me, some (not all) of the baristas can be quite rude. Despite this, I can't stay away and love their coffee. It's also a cozy place to read if you can grab a table. My one gripe with the space is the bathroom - if I'm paying $8 for a latte, I would hope the bathroom would be a little cleaner.
Nice, simple latte :)
I’ve seen some reviews about unpleasant service, but the two girl baristas couldn’t have been nicer, so idk what that’s about.
There is seating available and seems cozy, with light music playing (I just got it to go). Wifi ✅ Pastries present (didn’t eat)
Prices are on par with Toronto

Whoever the two were working Saturday morning on January 3rd need to understand how to be more professional and discrete while at a workplace.
A quiet morning and everyone could overhear them talking about was tips, how to get raises, and complaining about long shifts from 10am to 2pm.
Evidently a difficult time to find good staff, but these two are not providing any positive benefit to this business. Just a sad poisonous generation of entitled employees.
Latte was lukewarm, and as previously mentioned, with the dead inside customer service, there is better atmosphere at a cemetery.

I’ve tried. I keep trying. I don’t know why. I used to always hear about this spot when living in the west end but was so disappointed after moving down the street 3 years ago. The first time I went was one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve had at any cafe in the entire city and instantly turned me off from going again. A year later though I thought I’d try again, maybe the staff has changed or something was off at the time. Sadly it was the same, I was treated like garbage when I asked about one of their drinks. The barista literally asked me “why do I care?”. And STILL I tried another year later (this week) and this barista gave me such attitude too! I thought it was me at this point but I got together with an east end group who all told me that none of them go there anymore because of the constant rudeness.
I really hope the cafe can have a comeback and turn things around because we need long-standing Toronto shops to keep existing. I wish them the best but I can’t try a fourth time.

Really great experience with my son (2.5yo) the other day when he changed his mind about his order. Staff were extra accommodating and kind. Would go back 10/10.

Coffee tastes like bad and made me sick! The coffee smelled weird but I thought of it nothing but it could be the machine or something made it smell bad. My stomach hurting me now.
Honestly I’ve been here a couple times because I love so close to here, but the coffee is so bad (the espresso always tastes burnt, somehow) and I have never once had pleasant service. I would strongly recommend passing on coming here. There are several better options on Queen St E.
