$5.71 for cold americano! very small cup and all the way up ice. Smelled bad even in the store. Never again.
Coffee tastes like bad and made me sick! The coffee smelled weird but I thought of it nothing but it could be the machine or something made it smell bad. My stomach hurting me now.
Honestly I’ve been here a couple times because I love so close to here, but the coffee is so bad (the espresso always tastes burnt, somehow) and I have never once had pleasant service. I would strongly recommend passing on coming here. There are several better options on Queen St E.

Super cute place! Quaint and cozy. Latte was average and milk tasted a little burnt

It’s so unfortunate, this coffee shop has been around for so long and it use to feel like a neighborhood spot. The service is so bad now, the staff ignores you, most are just talking/gossiping among themselves…everything takes so long cause they clearly do not care and expect a 20% tip on a coffee. I’ve talked to others that live in the area and that’s the general experience for them too.
It’s just sad because the coffee is really good and it’s a vibe.

Quite little café, very busy, not as quiet as you would want if you’re trying to have a coffee while reading or getting task done on your laptop. Outdoor patio seating area was directly in the sun.
Good spot for waiting around and having a coffee

Very excellent latte! Friendly staff. Quaint place.
I love their coffee bean collection from different professional roasters. Sofa seating is comfy and spacious. The latte was good and the vibe of the cafe is nice. I feel relaxed when having my coffee over there. The staff is nice and friendly, too.

Conflicted about this cafe. Been living in the area for a few years and typically will stop by Saturday/Sunday mornings before the gym. Haven’t had the baked goods before though they do look quite fresh/tasty. Coffee itself is decent, not the best but definitely not the worst. Cute atmosphere inside and the patio is lovely in the summer. I’ve found the service quite poor though, especially when you’re paying $6.50+ (all in) for a cortado. Without fail every time I visit the staff seem thoroughly uninterested and as though you’re a burden for them. Somehow that’s been the case regardless of the staff over the past several years. I always try to be polite and cordial, and though I’m not expecting silver spoon service, some minor reciprocation would be welcome. I frequent most of the cafes in the area and for some reason this is the only one where the staff have a consistently negative attitude.

I am a simple girl. I drink my coffee black and love it strong albeit also a coffee purist. I visited this place yesterday for the first time and all I can say is WOW!!!!! The coffee quality is the best I have had in a long time (and I have tried a lot). I want my coffee to do what I need it to do in terms of caffeine and in addition to the tasty notes, this coffee DEFINITELY does what it is suppose to do. Will be back repeatedly.

One of the first third wave coffee places in Toronto and an absolute staple in the community.
Coffee still holds hella high standards, though is a pretty lowkey place. Not flashy, not pretentious, just good stuff.
