The staff were welcoming, and with a smile approached usbto explain about their digital menue and asked us about drinks. We ordered guacamole, shrimp ceviche, and shrimp taco. The guacamole is prepared in front of you and is delicious. The ceviche is not the traditional one, it has a drier black sauce and you should mix it before eating it. It was good, but I do prefer the juicy ceviche. The tacos were a king meal, delicious and tasty. We finished our meal with a long espresso that also prepared carefully. While having lunch a friend joined us and the staff were very accommodating and served him fast. I do plan to come back for dinner since their drink are recommended.

When it came time to clean our table and get the bill, I kid you not the waitress would stop by every 5 mins or so, pick up one plate, and walk away and not return for another 5 mins just to pick up another single plate.

It’s a very nice place, very Mexico-vibes, well set up, fun, and the service is excellent. The staff are super friendly—not the fastest, but definitely kind. The place is very clean. Honestly, there’s not much negative to say because it’s not bad at all. If you’re Canadian or not really familiar with Mexican culture, it’s a great spot to have a really pleasant time. But if you are Mexican, you’ll notice a lot of details right away—and that’s okay. It’s not Mexico, it’s Canada. What I really couldn’t overlook, though, was the food. It just doesn’t taste like Mexico—it’s not authentic and doesn’t carry the real flavor. Honestly, if you want to go for the atmosphere and enjoy the shows, it’s amazing. But if you’re going for the food with Mexican expectations, I wouldn’t recommend it. The menu prices are fair, because even if the flavor isn’t great, you can tell there’s effort and time put into it. It’s simply not the best food. Overall, the place feels very Mexico-Canadian.

Have to echo other recent reviews. Although the food is decent, the service was bad. We had made a reservation through opentable (for outdoor seating) but the staff didn’t really make the effort to seat us on time. It took 30 mins of waiting around and asking repeatedly to get a table outside even though there was seating available. Then no one came to take an order for another 15-20 mins after being seated. In the meantime, we weren't allowed to order drinks at the bar. Poor experience overall.

We came here to celebrate my birthday, which my girlfriend organized as a surprise with coworkers and friends. We were a fairly large group, and I have to say the food itself was good, and I also appreciated the complimentary birthday drink.
That being said, there were several issues that made the experience frustrating. First, even though there was enough space in the restaurant to seat us more comfortably, the staff didn’t really make the effort to accommodate us better.
Second, for the size of our group, having only one server was not enough. Service was very slow, and it took a long time to get everyone’s orders. On top of that, the menu felt very limited in options. For example, one salad was labeled as vegan but actually came with chicken breast — a clear mislabeling.
But the biggest problem came at the end. Throughout the night I kept asking the server to put certain items on my bill, but he told me, “We’ll figure out the bill at the end.” When it was time to pay, we were told they could not split the check — only one bill for the whole group. That meant I was forced to pay for everyone, including people I don’t know well, Now I’m left chasing people for money, and many don’t realize they also owe their share of the tip and taxes, what a nice birthday gift 😅
In short, if you’re planning to host a big birthday or group celebration here, be prepared to pay for everyone yourself. Unless you’re comfortable covering the entire bill, this place is not group-friendly.

A lovely spot on Baldwin, and the server Emiliano was so attentive and sweet! We went for a birthday work lunch and he quickly matched our energy and recommended us the best drinks to celebrate with. They have diverse seating options with beautiful decor all over. Definitely fits into the Baldwin Vibe. Unfortunately, the food took rather long (we had to go back to work!!), but it was rather busy on a Thursday Afternoon. Will definitely come again (but with no time restriction).
