I would say this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Scarborough. The food is good, the attention is great and the atmosphere is nice. They usually have live music or something. My favorite dish are the Birria tacos for sure.

Celebrated my birthday here and booked a large party (about 45 people) on a Saturday night back in July. From booking to service on the actual night everyone was so easy to work with and so accommodating. It was salsa night as well so the live music and dancing made the atmosphere really lively and fun. The band even sang me happy birthday and the servers who attended to my party provided me with complimentary drinks which were all so good. We had a portion of the restaurant next to the stage that allowed for my group to have our own area but access to the bar, washrooms, good view of the stage, and the patio too. We were able to give the owner/manager our guests’ orders ahead of time so that it allowed for efficient service the night of. They even let us bring our own decorations and our own cake. All in all such a great experience. Would definitely do it again! Thanks Mexitaco!

This restaurant is a terrible place, I ordered birria tacos from them and did not receive it and when I called back they told me to call then after 1pm the next day which I did but instead of picking up they never answered so here I am down $20-$30.

First walked in and the place looked beautiful, i really like the decor. And then a man greeted me (didnt get his name) but he was super nice. Asked him about the band setup and he said every Fri and Sat is a live performance (sometimes Sunday too, check their IG) and thursdays is kareoke. Didn't get to take a photo the food was so good. Ordered Burrito de Tinga and Quesadilla de Tinga and they were 10/10. The chicken was soft and tasty while the quesadilla was toasted nicely. Also asked for some hot sauce and we got I believe salsa verde (which was really good) and I'm not sure the other, tasted like a slightly spicy salsa and that was good too. All together no complaints, def will come back.
