The food is here is simply amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff here at this location provided an outstanding level of service - top class. They said they're opening one up in Oshawa in May 2024. Wish there was one out west ;) Keep it up!

If you are Mexican you know that the table should always have fresh tortilla chips and sauces!!!!, not frozen!!!!I expected more from the place and the food!The sauces were frozen, I ordered a corn and it was cold! So I didn't enjoy it.The food hmmmm nothing special.I expected something more Mexican from the place, varied music in all languages.Good service from the waiters who speak Spanish.

Went for breakfast, and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely their dine-in area is. We had the whole place to ourselves. Was a great find for a breakfast/brunch place. Had their Huevos Divorciados for brunch with churros for dessert. Also, their coffee was delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. First discovered them on Uber Eats and feel in love with their bean and cheese tostadas, so glad I checked them out in person!

If you're looking for a vibrant and authentic Mexican dining experience, MEXITACO Cantina is the place to be! My recent visit was such a treat as everything we ordered was filled with fresh ingredients, there was a variety of dishes on the menu, the service was quick and the servers were very welcoming and friendly, and a warm and fun atmosphere.We ordered a bunch of dishes to sample the menu, including both the shrimp and fish ceviche tostada, tacos de Carnitas, tacos de chorizo, both the Baja fish and shrimp tacos, tacos de Birria, and fresh hot churros for dessert.The lively Friday night entertainment added to the fun atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to celebrate special occasions. We saw a few birthdays being celebrated with the waiters singing and the birthday person got to wear a large traditional Mexican hat, adding to the fun vibe.While the menu offered affordable prices, the portions were a bit smaller than expected. I'll definitely be back to MEXITACO Cantina to enjoy more of their delicious food and lively ambiance.Vegetarian options: For every meat option, there was a veggie alternative offered as well on the menu.Parking: Free parking is located at the back of the restaurant.

Let’s start with positive part of this review! Friendly staff and we were seated immediately. Negative part of this review; the food presentation one star, We ordered steak tacos with a side of plántanos we received the steak tacos and no plántanos asked twice for the order and it took our server 20 minutes after the delivery of the steak tacos which made no sense since we wanted to eat them together and when the plántanos did come they were grassy. We sent the entire order back and paid for the sangria. Nice and clean restaurant but when it comes to food and service this location gets one star.

I have been disappointed by this place for the last time. I used to come here all the time, staff was nice, food was good. Don't know whats happened lately, especially for takeout orders. Birria burrito was stale with crunchy rice, soggy/mushy tortilla and had no flavour. Asked for "extra cilantro" and I guess for the chefs that means "Absolutely no cilantro" (which has been the case for the past 2 years). The birria tacos were soggy and again, lacked flavour because there was no cilantro or onions ontop. The elote was the smallest cob of corn I've ever seen, it was boiled, and covered in watery cheese. At this point its been a consistent disappointment.
