Our waitress, Jacqui, was an absolute delight. She was so warm and welcoming. She made us feel at home. The House Caesar is probably one of the best that I have ever had. Kudos to your mixologist. We ordered the chicken and carne tacos. I ordered the carne empanadas. I must say that the empanadas were underwhelming. They lacked flavour. Everyone else was happy with their tacos. It was my birthday and Jacqui surprised me with a dessert that just blew my mind. So incredibly flavourful. Chef's kiss! The Strawberry and Pistachio Tres Leches except mine had mixed berries. So lux. Despite my disappointment with the empanadas, I do recommend this restaurant. Great for a date night or a celebration!

Easy to book a birthday party for a big group and everyone loved the food and place. We ordered the guacamole bar, empanadas, tacos, octopus, paella, esquites...all delicious. The atmosphere is great, and the service is friendly. They went above and beyond. My favorite here is the cocktails. I love the alcohol-free virgin margaritas! One of the best cocktails for those who don't drink, I think they use agave. All great, thanks Mezcalero!

Came on a Saturday around 6:30pm as a walk-in and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately the food didn’t land for us. The salad was very bland but also overly sour, and the beets tasted old and were tough/chewy. We also tried the cod empanadas and the flavor combination was odd. Portions felt small for the price. The beef and octopus also taste really mid.
On top of that, the table was a bit too small, which made the dining experience feel cramped and uncomfortable. Overall it wasn’t worth it for us and I wouldn’t return.

Went here for a birthday. From the beginning I had a very positive experience. I had a large party so I spoke to the manager about it. He was extremely accommodating and was able to make adjustments to my reservation up to the day without hesitation👍🏼👍🏼
We arrived and the table was set for the large group. Everyone was attentive and service was quick. I chose this restaurant as the space is not huge, super loud and guests can speak to eachother. Everyone had a welcome tequila and our preordered appetizers were on their way. We were all very happy. It was a seamless enjoyable night.
I would definitely go back here, this was my second time and I can't wait for the summer to enjoy their patio. Thank you Mezcalero for everything ❤️ Ps we didn't take any pics as we all had such a great time eating and talking.

I don’t know which guy picked up the phone today at 6:20pm on Nov 24th, but he has been the rudest person I have ever tried to make a reservation with. I’ve been a loyal customer here, I have celebrated my birthday multiple times here, and I tried doing the same thing for this year, and it was truly incredible how disrespectful this guy was. This restaurant has lost a loyal customer. Hasta nunca Mezcalero.

This place is a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I have been going for well over a year and can’t get enough. Best margs in the city with amazing tacos and a must try guac bar. In the summer the happy hour plus the patio is a slam dunk. Would recommend to anyone.
