The service was poor, wait staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu and were inattentive. We got the octopus which was a bit over done.

Awesome and authentic menu and very friendly service... Happy Hour specials are amazing value!!
Great food, great happy hour, great drinks! We especially loved our server. Cute girl with beautiful curly hair. Will be coming back.
The food was excellent and the service and atmosphere was great. We will go back for sure.
The food was pretty good and the renovation of the restaurant is really nice but above all else the service was fantastic. Our waitress was really nice and made my dad’s birthday very special!

We hosted our wedding party here and absolutely loved it! We wanted something more casual and Mezcalero was the perfect venue. The decor was really nice, the food was great and everyone enjoyed the drinks. We had the doors open all night to the patio and loved the indoor-outdoor space. We really appreciated the staff. They are super kind, helpful and everyone loved their energy! We had so much fun dancing the night away.

Afternoon happy hour, great service. After paying our bill it got weird. Asked if we could leave because they needed the tables. Manager was urging staff to hurry up and get 'one last round of drinks' from customers.

Pros: - interior restaurant and patio nice and vibey - montecristo sandwich with jam was yummy but the ham was a little grizzly and fatty - our male server was friendly Cons: - we ordered the pistachio pancakes and they were chewy and dark inside and looked as though there was still batter inside (not fluffy at all); we told the waiter about this and kindly returned them after only having a bite each; upon receiving our bill I expected the item to be removed (like what a typical restaurant would do) - but it wasn't - and the staff gave us a hard time about it; in the end they never did remove the item so we had to pay for the pancakes which flabbergasted us; so we just didn't tip - simple as that; kind of ruined our overall experience. - service was slooow (food took a while even though restaurant wasn't busy at all) - another older couple had been sitting forever and finally walked out due to not getting served (felt bad for them) - wasps all over the place so we were always fighting them off (I know this isn't the restaurants fault but maybe there's something they can set out as a trap; but just be aware of the time of year and sitting in the patio)

While the ambience of this restaurant's outdoor patio was nice, the quality of the food was just ok and the waiter was unprofessional. There was also dust on the coffee mug and napkins as well as a fingerprint on the knife, making the restaurant seem unclean. Although the brunch was not expensive, I wouldn't go back to this place unfortunately.
Excellent food, the tacos and the mango tamarind salad were delicious. The esquites could have been better but everything else was great.
Very nice! But tacos and paella aren’t sold at noon. Pancakes are only available before 2:30 pm on weekends.
