I can't give a rating because when I showed up at the address there was a note on the door that stated it was closed. I travelled from out of the city to dine at this restaurant to only arrive and find out it didn't exist. The reservation was also confirmed the day before through open table. Very frustrating and disappointing that I was not contacted in advance about the restaurant closure.

Flawless dining experience! The waiters made sure we were well taken care of and the steak, espresso martini, and corn were the best I’ve had in my life. If you’re looking for a true fine dining experience, Michael’s is pricey but well worth the money - a meal to remember.

That was a really good fine dining restaurant for a business dinner! The place was cozy and comfortable to talk and enjoy the food. The stuff was friendly, very attentive, and not intrusive.I really enjoyed the meals here, everything was fresh, and the dishes were pretty served.Appetizers were interesting, especially the parmesan-spinach paste for spreading on bread.1. Burrata salad is must try here, it was refreshing! I liked the balance of saltiness, sweet and sourness. The cheese was very soft and fresh, I liked the chanterelle mushrooms and very tasty mix of tomatoes! Absolutely beautiful that you can see the photos before and after :)2. Artishok salad with ruccola was cool, I never tried artishoks before, very interesting taste, and we ate it all! It was a revelation for me.3. It is a steakhouse, so I ordered the n.y. striploin, that was outstanding! This is definitely a best steakhouse in Toronto!4. I'm a not big fan of sweets, but to be honest the chocolate-caramel cake was good.To summarize, I'd definitely come here again! Good place for business/private meetings.

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Michael's this week. Booking our reservation was quick and simple and parking was easily accessible from behind the restaurant. We dined on a Wednesday evening, so it was a nice and quiet evening. Our waiter was a complete gentleman and took his time to explain the items on the menu in great detail.Dinner began with some complimentary servings of bread with 3 different spreads, followed shortly by a tasty amuse-bouche.Dining at Michael's is meant to be an experience, so we decided to go with the A5 Miyazaki wagyu in addition to the striploin. Our sides included a corn dish along with some garlic mashed potatoes. Ordering the wagyu means that you get to choose from a set of special knives to cut your steak with. The knife is made out of VG10 steel with Japanese inscriptions and has a handle made from the wood of an endangered tree from Hawaii. Didn't change the way the steak tasted, but whatever. The restaurant kindly provided us with a complimentary plate of cookies and berries as an anniversary gift. One word of caution... the A/C blows pretty intensely out of the vents and caused our food to go cold pretty quickly. This might vary depending on where you're seated, so you may want to ask the staff to seat you somewhere that isn't in the direct path of the A/C.

Incredible dining experience. This steakhouse easily ranks among the best in Toronto. While certainly not inexpensive, the ambience, service, and food quality justify the price. The staff was highly attentive and knowledgeable. We were even provided a complimentary appetizer (Salmon Tartare with Caviar) after the waiter informed us of the longer cook time, given the types of steak we ordered. However, my absolute favourite part of the dining experience – which I have not seen many reviewers comment on – was the live music. A beautiful young lady delicately performed stripped-down covers of recognizable pop songs. A sculptor could not have fashioned her sea-nymph ears, dainty nose, and calamine-pink lips any better while her angelic voice graciously filled the room. Many of the guys that were seated facing away from her that evening left the restaurant with sore necks (myself included). My only regret was attending this restaurant with a party of male friends, which included one of my fattest and most obnoxious pals, Ivan. His vulgar behaviour, distasteful commentary, and uncultivated worldview clashed with the more sophisticated nature of the restaurant. As such, I would recommend this restaurant for more intimate occasions such as anniversaries and dates that are in the later innings of the courting process.

Our overall experience was average at best however there were some highlights. I would say our server was very disinterested and at times seemed to be annoyed with his job. Wine/ waters were empty, no flair for his job, disappointing. We started with the Buratta salad; it was wonderful. The mix of tomatoes, pickles onions, and cheese was fabulous. We then shared a 16oz Alberta beef strip loin, the cook was ok but it was terribly under seasoned and at $140/16 oz. my sense it that it should be remembered. We also shared the Carmela de Fungi pasta, what a wonderful course; I would order again. So overall there were highs and lows however the service and overpriced steak made the experience a little disappointing.

I thought the ambiance was great and the waiter was pleasant the only problem was they gave me the wrong bill which I thought was kind of embarrassing especially when on the first date!! ??‍♂️

We arrived and were asked at the hostess desk if wanted Summerlicious or regular menu. Does it cost more to being both menus to our table. To partake in Summerlicious menu all parties must choose from Summerlicious? Since when is this a rule? Benches are too low for tables. They bring us our meals, my steak is all alone on a huge plate, $72 and not even a mushroom, a lettuce leaf. I know all. Sides are alacarte but come on, never heard of presentation that's 50% of eating. Steak was over peppered, over cooked. Asked for medium rare got medium at best. Halibut dish my partner ordered looked like a proper dish and tasted good. Didn't do Summerlicious btw as I was truly offended by they're overall attitude.

Absolutely wonderful. We loved the staff and service was above our expectations! The artichoke appetizer for Summerlicious was outstanding. Thanks for a great night, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We mostly enjoy dinners here but tonight was a giant disappointment. Quarter full (maybe less) restaurant and it took us 2.5 hours to get through dinner, eventually cancelling dessert. They sent us home with the dessert in a bag (without utensils) and reduced our bill however we didn't travel an hour and a half for a discounted dinner, we expected to pay full price for a wonderful dinner for my wife's birthday. I guess we will find a new steakhouse in Toronto.

Alessandro was PHENOMENAL. This is the kind of service I expect from such a restaurant . Everything was executed with the utmost level of professionalism .5 stars for the food , 5 star for service , 5 star for the ambiance/decor/vibe.

My husband made reservations here to close out our honeymoon! Staff was amazing! The service was incredible! You must try the Blue Violette drink, it was DELICIOUS!!! Caesar salad was amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place!!!

Excellent service. We were guided when to place our orders as there were a number of other, larger groups coming in after us. However, we did not feel rushed by our amazing waitress. Food was also excellent. Really good menu especially for those of us who don't eat meat! Lovely ambience. Tables are nicely spaced out (no overcrowding) and very elegant.

Food and service were great, but I have to say it is outrageously over-priced. 8oz steak is nearly $100 without any sides at all. They charged us $10 each for bottle of cold water. In the end for a table of six guests they didn't want to split the check, but they did after some coercion. Nice meal but a really bad value.
