I didn't have a good experience here during pride weekend. Location was good, service was not. After being seated (told to sit wherever), we browsed the menu for 30-40 min and were never acknowledged by any staff. A table near us eventually yelled at a staff member to get help with refills, but the staff member promptly left after filling the cups there and we never saw them again. It was extremely loud, even outside with the music inside plus people's voices. The restaurant itself looked cute, we ended up leaving and going somewhere else though. I can't rate the food other than saying it seemed expensive, and based on the menu looked like normal pub fare.
Miranda is an amazing server. She took great care of us despite the place being so busy :)
miranda was wonderful! super friendly and funny with my boyfriend and i. quick service and great conversation :) adorable hat with google-y eyes too lol i hope she gets to wear that whenever and not just on pride weekend.
drinks were good but the poutine portion was a little small. probably best for one person not two (not servers fault, we didn’t ask) top 40’s hits on the radio, nice patio.
Excellent service from Raven!
Nico (Niko?) is an absolute legend, everyone I dealt with was excellent but I didn't get their names, new favourite little spot to hang out at when I'm in town
I came here back in 2007 for a holiday from the UK and from what I can remember it was a nice friendly atmosphere and me and an old friend met a guy there called Jordan and he took us around other parts of Toronto and to a rock club in that area where we met other people and for them two weeks we had a blast and made some good memories from that trip and the guy who worked in this bar (if he is still there) he was a nice guy and recommended some place and remember giving him a £5 note
There was a large group of us. The vibe was great. Music was just loud enough so we could still talk. I only ate the wings but they were so good! Miranda was our server and she was terrific. She kept all our orders straight and had such a friendly, fun personality. She was awesome! All in all a great night!

I really don't like to write negative reviews and I don't do it often.
But I'm an honest person... me and my mother came here for dinner last night after working a long day... She ordered a grilled chicken Cesar salad and I ordered fish tacos with a side of fries and a pint of beer.
We waited over 30 mins before our entrees were served, my SIDE of fries came almost 20 mins before our entrees and they weren't even hot, lukewarm at most... As a professional chef, I wouldn't have thought it would take that long to be served salad and deep-fried food... And don't serve sides before entrees - I serve them with.
Sadly and lastly... The fish tacos were dreadful... It was 3 tortillas with what tasted like plain shredded cabbage, fried haddock, too much mayo and chopped dill... Nothing about it tasted like a taco or close to Mexican... I only at 1 and half tacos and didn't even finish my fries.
In the end for a salad, pint of beer, 3 fish tacos and side of fries my mom paid almost $70 including tip and told me she saw the bartender doing shots while on shift.
Nothing was wrong with our waitress, she was rather quite pleasant.

Visited Toronto for four days and came across this bar right across from our hotel. From the second we walked in the atmosphere was great. We went back all four days we were in town because of the exceptional service provided by Miranda and Nick. After the first day, we felt like regulars. Will definitely visit again if back in town!

Worst experience ever, me and my friend seated for 10 mins, no one waited for us. Had to leave after being ghosted.

Terrible service totally not pc very disrespectful
The food took forever to come out and when it did it was cold. The service was awful and even when we asked for the bill it took a whole 40 minutes. We then had to ask another server to be able to pay so that we could leave. Would not recommend this pub. No attention to detail or customer experience.

Stopped in for a beer and some grub without realizing it was the day before Halloween. There was a large crowd of costumes folk and Nico (Hank?) and a young lady whose name I didn't catch were tending bar all on their own- and killing it. They were quick with drinks, the jerk chicken sandwich was tasty, and the locally brewed beers on tab were lovely. Nico/Hank was not only fast and efficient, but nice as well. He brought out his signature sauces for my sandwich and they were excellent. Great pub!

Seems like the bar patrons and bartenders have no problem using homophobic slurs extremely loudly.
