Great service and friendly atmosphere. My mussels were very good, especially the adddition of fennel and orange zest to the mussel sauce .I should add that they were a bit shriveled (an indication of age) in the shell and some were not open. The frites were excellent.

I came here for breakfast and really enjoyed the experience overall. The crepes were very tasty, light, flavorful, and perfectly done. The salmon Benedict was also excellent, rich and well-balanced. The steak Benedict was decent, though the steak could have been a bit better quality. Still, everything was nicely presented and the meal was satisfying. I’d definitely come back again for the crepes and salmon Benedict!

I used to visit the restaurant when they were located at McCaul St. and was pleasantly surprised when they chose Cobourg as their new home. Having visited Midi Cobourg a few times during busy times and not, I continue to be impressed by the quality and the friendly courteous service. Midi bistro is a welcome addition to our local dining scene and is worth a visit!
We were attracted by the charming patio with flowers and were pleasantly surprised by the hot, delicious breakfast. We had omelets that came with a freshly made croissant, fresh fruit salad, green salad, and homemade home fries. The omelette was tasty and filling. Highly recommend! Good service too.

We went for lunch. Both had onion soup lots of cheese on top but don't think was gruyere sort of bland and not completely browned on top. Hubby had beef stew with fries but no French bread to dip and soak up sauce. I had steak fries just OK several grisly pieces and not all cooked to Medium as requested half was well done. Servers and greeter somewhat friendly but as we were last customers for lunch staff seemed to be rushing around and hardly engaged us. Had read many great reviews but honestly Midi just average and probably won't be back. BTW expected French style/patterned table cloths, warm bread with herbed butter on the table and maybe even some olives for nothing while waiting for food. It's always the little touches that make a restaurant memorable.

Great hospitality by the girls serving, food was very good and the atmosphere was great we will go back to try more items from this menu. The girls found out it was our Anniversary and gave us a free cream brûlée to share which was a special touch. Recommend you try!!!
