What a pleasant surprise to find in the small community of Coburg! Food was deliciously prepared, portions were plentiful and not over priced! Will definitely return the next time in the area!
My husband and I decided to try this new restaurant in Cobourg as a very spur of the moment decision. The owners moved their restaurant from downtown Toronto to Cobourg and we are very glad they did! We had a 3 course prix fix dinner and every course was divine. Having lived in France for a few years I had high expectations about the flavours and seasonings and they were nothing less than perfection. Food was very good. Both risottos were creamy and flavorful. The butter that came with bread was not spreadable. But the bread had a crunchy crust and a fluffy middle.
Creme brulee was okay but subpar compared to the entrees. Would skip the brulee. Overall very good and would come again.
