My boyfriend and I were strolling Queen Street West area on a Saturday afternoon. For dinner, we decided to pick a place that looked cozy. As we were walking, we saw people inside having warm bowls of ramen, so we picked this place to have dinner. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly faces and high pitched hello! Our waiter for this evening was a friendly young man who took us to a seat across from the open-concept kitchen. He brought us hot glasses of water (as per our request) and suggested their popular items to try. The decor was modern and calming. The mix of brown, green, black, and red added interest to a few places (e.g. by the entrance, the kitchen) yet a relaxing feeling. I enjoyed seeing the mix of artificial plants and wood panels to create a serene place. For appetizer, we ordered Takoyaki and Chicken Kaarage. For the main, we both picked Spicy Tan Tan Ramen (seasoned ground chicken, baby bak choy, chilli pepper, chilli threads, and chilli flakes). Also, my boyfriend ordered a Japanese mango soda. The appetizers tasted great- Takoyaki were hot and fresh and the Chicken Kaarage were also hot and succulent. The ramen was also delicious- hot and spicy to warm us up! The portion size was very generous. We enjoyed the Japanese mango soda- it was lightly sweet and refreshing. Throughout the evening, our waiter checked-in on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. He was attentive and friendly, and we appreciated his service. Delicious food and attentive service in a relaxed place. You can't go wrong!

Pretty much the only place that makes creamy milky chicken broth in the Toronto dt area. Not very common to see this type of broth but I enjoyed eating this so much. Very creamy and delicious. What I usually get is the signature ramen or the one with the truffle sauce on top. You won't regret coming. Give urself a try!

The broth is fantastic and incredibly rich. Paitan broth isn't really common in Japan but a superior broth IMO since it's quite emulsified. Could have better noodles but almost every place in Toronto uses this standard ramen noodle for some reason.

I have been here like a million times now. I wasn't a fan of Ramen and Sushi but, now I am!The place is super nice when it comes to the quality of food and service. Not at all pricey and the portion size is "hefty"!Seats for 20-25 people max with 2-3 seats for two, 3-4 bar stools and 4-5 four-seater tables. So ayeah not really big per say bit super clean and sort of pretty interiors!Vegetarian options: Very limitedDietary restrictions: Staff will take care of this if they're promptedKid-friendliness: Its theme is Japanese and a family restaurant. Last I checked kids seem happy at such places.Wheelchair accessibility: People in wheelchairs can navigate in and out of the place without breaking a sweat.

My favourite ramen spot until I go at 930pm on a Saturday and they tell me they are closing even though it says closing at 1130pm online… drove all the way here for nothing. Super disappointing when we want to give them business and they reject it

Love everything about this place. For starters, lovely deco. All the small details make you feel welcomed! Service was fast and reliable. I just wish they had more vegan options but I was more than happy with my choice (Black Garlic Vegetarian). This was one of the best ramen I've ever had. Kudos to everyone who makes Midori Ramen such a great spot and my go-to ramen restaurant in Toronto.

Loved this ramen spot. My husband got the truffle ramen and I got the spicy vegetarian with an egg, and we shared the chicken karate. The ramen was delicious, really good portion size. Highly recommend the skinny noodle—the texture is perfect!

The original Tori Paitan is fantastic and a great way to begin your Midori Ramen story. Rich, creamy, and savory - just like as looks.

Great service! Ramen was ok/decent - perfect portion, good noodles. However, I preferred my friend's ramen which was the duck one - the broth was creamy with an earthy/umami undertone. I asked for hot sauce on the side and they gave me a spicy paste which was not spicy at all.
