Enjoyed the dinner in a casual business manner. The dishes are authentic (tried almost all the dishes with Michelin Chef collaboration) and very creative and special. The service is amazing and it could be a place for business for family for some celebrations:) Ume Sour Squid is a little bit too sour but very special though?

I ordered the 4 course set menu and it was delicious. I especially like the platter with 9 different types of sushi. Three stars because the service was incredibly slow. It took a while just to even order our first drinks. At one point we had ordered additional dishes, but they took so long to come that we had lost all momentum and I personally would have just cancelled my order in favour of grabbing the bill. Our server also kept getting interrupted/distracted by what appeared to be the manager.

I personally much prefer Miku in Vancouver. The several times I have been there, we have always had attentive service and the view and atmosphere are excellent.

We had the Aburi Oshi Sampler and the Sushi selection. The ingredients were high-quality and they were tastefully put together. The service was attentive and the restaurant's decor is very nice.

The sushi is good but quality is inconsistent when ordering for delivery. The california roll sometimes has shredded crab, sometimes its whole..sometimes with mayo and sometimes without. Ideally what is delivered would consistently match the site’s description. The rice was undercooked on the most recent order which was disappointing given the $$$.

The food got a little more expensive than before but the quality is just as same as before. Just wish i walk out of my financial crisis so i can return for the full menu.

Okay let me start by saying that the sushi is excellent and the waiters were very welcoming. But there are 3 reasons I unfortunately won’t be coming back here:

1. I told them I had a shellfish allergy, but I was served a sushi platter with prawn on it. They promptly returned to the kitchen and came back to me. I could see it was the same plate however and that it hadn’t been changed, so I asked them if it was the same plate as before and they said yes, which isn’t great seeing as I told them I have an allergy.

2. There was an eyelash on my sushi. It’s expensive sushi, so not exactly ideal to pull an eyelash off my tuna.

3. The atmosphere is not good. It’s hard surfaces everywhere and is incredibly loud and echoey. Made it difficult to enjoy my meal.

Did the mothers day lunch and it was incredible. Third time at miku and it never disappoints. Best sushi I've ever had and the Tahitian vanilla bean cheesecake is a 10/10. Also their mocktails are surprisingly good! Recommended if you're not a big drinker or don't drink alcohol at all.

Nothing special in my opinion, I liked the Vancouver location because you had the waterfront views but here it was just a view of Scotiabank haha. Service wasn’t very good — they got the spicy edamame order wrong twice (first time they missed the order and it took forever to come even though we had ordered it first for the table to start before the other apps, second time they forgot the spicy flakes), and the rice on the sushi was kind of soggy— I don’t eat “premium” often but I’ve had better torched sushi from Japanese fish markets and/or even sushi takeout restaurants. It was not worth the price for me. The place is aesthetically nice in terms of interior and ambiance to an extent but service & food quality isn’t on par. I liked my espresso martini though. I’d rather come here for drinks over food, but I also don’t really see myself coming here (it’s kind of out of the way and a whole trek by the highway just for Japanese) again. Also, it took forever to get our food and then also our bill. We even had someone text us and ask if we were STILL at dinner lol (we were there from 6:30 and didn’t leave/pay our bill till almost 9:30pm, that’s three hours?!?!). Service was pretty inattentive lol.

Bomb sushi! This place had melt in your mouth good dishes. They had a few things that I've not tried in the US. It was a nice fresh take on sushi. They do lunch and dinner menus that vary. I had lunch both times and was not disappointed. Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the area.

Dined here before a concert at the ACC since it’s so close. Our server was great about getting us out on time. The signature aburi sushi was good but the fish seemed a bit thin. The sable fish was nice and meaty but temperature wise wasn’t very hot. Brussels sprouts with pork belly could render the fat from the fatty pork.

This was my first time at Miku and I’m so impressed. The chef created an incredible plant-based tasting menu that is one of the best, if not the best, meals I’ve ever had. Thank you Song and Kevin for making this such a special experience (and for keeping the birthday celebration low key!) ?
