I visited Mildred’s Temple Kitchen after seeing their famous blueberry pancakes all over TikTok, and they definitely lived up to the hype. I’m very glad they offer the option to order just one pancake, because I definitely wouldn’t have finished three! The pancake was light, fluffy, and really flavorful, especially with the cream and blueberries.
I also ordered the gingerbread latte. The drink itself was very good and I enjoyed the flavor, but I probably could have done without the cookie crumbs on top. They looked nice for presentation, but the texture wasn’t ideal while actually drinking it.
The ambience was lovely and the service was great. Since I was dining alone, I was seated right away, which I really appreciated. Overall, a really enjoyable visit.

Great breakfast spot!
It’s super busy on the weekends. Try to get there before opening at 9am to get a spot. There is usually a line up. The blueberry pancakes and smoked bacon are to die for! Their cappuccinos are good. I have tried a number of their mimosas and I am not a fan.
My husband had their recent chocolate chip pancake and he swears he loves it more than the blueberry ones. No pics because he inhaled it right away.

Don’t come here unless you can afford buying two meals for each person. The meals here are very small, with a heavy price tag. Only item that gave me the best value were their blueberry pancakes, they were fulfilling, though still overpriced IMO.
Overall, this place was mediocre. There were loud families, couples putting their feet on the seat, and cheap uncomfortable chairs. Definitely not an experience I’d want for the price, 45 minute waiting time for a table, difficult to find parking, and very limited menu selection. If you’re having a special occasion, or want something fancy, go somewhere else.

I have been wanting to try this place for years - finally got my chance today 😊 Chicken and waffles were delicious and you can’t miss getting the single side pancake - it did not disappoint 🥞 All delicious and going during the week you can make a reso! Even the Nojito for dry January was yummy 🍹

Mildred’s is akin to a modern day diner.
Between two people we had the chicken and waffles ($26), blueberry pancake stack ($23), and bottomless brewed coffee ($4.75 each). It wasn’t cheap, but it felt worth it. We were comfortably full.
The staff was fantastic, the space is family friendly, and the location is accessible from either Liberty Village or King St West. No reservations on weekends. We arrived at 9:30 AM on Saturday and easily got a spot. There was a line by 10:30 AM.
Overall, Mildred’s is a must visit if you’re looking for brunch fare.

Cute spot. Great service.
Food isn’t as great as everyone says. Got the grilled cheese sandwich and the bread was as tough as nails. Ratio of cheese to bread was also low.
Hot sauce was 10/10.

The blueberries pancakes ARE worth the hype, 3 pancakes were wayy too much for a single person it’s easily a shareable menu item. Not too sweet and perfectly balanced, not something insanely unique but definitely a good bite. The grilled cheese was also quite tasty but I just wish it was more filled - ratio of bread to cheese/apple jam was a little too high with not enough cheese. And VERY ultra crunchy. Rosemary potatoes with their hot sauce is a must try. And the Maple sea salt latte… 10/10

While vibe is nice and cozy, and the service is welcoming, the food is simply underwhelming. Pancakes are very dry and taste like plain bread, although cute. Croissant came out cold. Sandwhich was something I could make at home. Taste wise, very below average, with a very hefty price point. Would not return.
Mildred's is a brunch restaurant with a unique selection of cocktails and hot drinks. Nice decoration and space.

I don’t know who their trainer is or if they just make sure to hire nice people but the service was fantastic. Everyone was genuinely kind and attentive. Food was also great and well presented.
