Really liked everything we tried! They do not have that many options but the ones they have are worth it! Just have in mind that chicken and waffles are somewhat spicy, I liked it when mixed with the waffle sweets, the blueberries pancake are super delicious, not too sweet, just the right amount, capuccino is good.

Decent but not great brunch experience. Had the chicken and waffles which had interesting flavours but the waffle was lukewarm/cold when served (chicken was piping hot). My friends had Veda’s choice and one of them had a very runny soft poached egg (the other friends egg was fine, indicating this was just inconsistency in the cook). The food is very pretty and well presented, but the portion was relatively small, especially for a brunch meal and for the premium price. Don’t think it lived up to the hype. On the bright side there was no wait to get in at 9am when they opened on a Sunday.

Excellent brunch spot. Went during a weekday and no long wait. Got to eat in the patio and really enjoyed the vibe. Solid halal options and food was very good!

We went to Mildred’s Temple kitchen for brunch . Sadly the experience was not what we expected. Thankfully the saving grace was the service and the staff, they were excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was freezing cold and by the time we got our food, the food was cold as well. Not great to eat cold pancakes. Which were more biscuit like then pancakes. Would not go all the way from the east end for this. Lots of better places in the east end.

The grilled cheese with apple jam..TOOOOOO GOOD. Get the garlic aioli on the side… it’s worth the extra. Iced lavender fog and the maple sea salt latte are also super tasty. food was amazing and staff is great. Nice open concept atmosphere 10/10

Blueberry Pancakes. Enough said.

You will wait an hour for a table. This is the only restaurant I've not regretted the wait. Everything I ate was good, but the pancakes are unforgettable. These are the best pancakes I've ever had. This is not an exaggeration. It's the honest truth. So fluffy and so much flavor! We enjoyed the Huevos Monty and Chix & Waffles as well.

Had a great brunch at Mildred’s! The chicken on the chicken and waffles were seasoned perfectly. The classic blueberry pancakes are rightfully popular. Do be aware that the wait can be over an hour for the weekend brunch.

I would give this 4.5⭐️ so far. Tried the signature pancake stack with blueberry compote and they were fluffy, not too too sweet and with slight tanginess. Kendra was a lovely server! But water wasn’t refilled throughout. However the wait on weekends can probably range from 30 mins to 1 hour or more as they don’t take reservations on weekends.

What’s the point of having photos on google maps if they don’t have anything that you actually see that others have supposedly been eating. I looked at 3 different things (brunch skillet, temple burger, or porchetta pancakes) in the photos which led me to choose to come to this place, but they have completely separate menu and only have like 6 options to order. If you want breakfast/brunch food that is not blueberry pancakes, I wouldn’t recommend.

Oct 2024 - Came for weekend brunch and found a seasonal option 'Pumpkin Spice pancakes' that were really good (Pancake score: 9.5/10). The texture and presentation were similar to the blueberry pancakes, but with gingerbread crumbs that complimented the pumpkin spice. Still found the traditional blueberry pancakes the best, and needless to say this remains the absolute best spot for pancakes overall in Toronto!

2022 -This is definitely in my top 5 for best brunch in Toronto. Their blueberry pancakes are the best in the city. Definitely worth a visit

(Pancake score: 10/10)

Was told it would be an hour and a half wait, so we left for OEB, only to receive a text 20 minutes later that the table was ready but we had already ordered at OEB. Super frustrating as the wait time was extremely off.

We tried Veda’s Choice which is poached eggs with an optional topping sandwiched in croissants which I don’t recommend at all. Blueberry pancakes is a must if you go there and I definitely recommend it. Pumpkin spice latte was amazingly good and London fog was just ok and could be presented better as this is a professional restaurant.
There’s about a 45 minute wait time which is worth it only if you’re not in rush or have any other plans. Prices are somewhat high but still affordable.
Overall,
Veda’s choice - 2 out of 5
Blueberry pancakes - 5 out of 5
Pumpkin spice latte - 5 out of 5
London fog - 3 out of 5
Staff - 5 out of 5
Atmosphere - 4 out of 5
Price to value - 3 out of 5

The service was good and delicious. I visited on the weekend and waited for about an hour. Surprisingly, the egg scramble added on the side was delicious. It was not an ordinary egg scramble, but it had a very strong and nutty scent of butter or oil. Recommended.
