The host offered to take our coats, a nice touch. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was creative and presented so nicely. Their margarita was delicious and my partner had wine, also excellent. Only feedback of improvement is the washrooms - they were very chilly and not accessible for people with mobility issues. Overall it was a lovely first experience
Group of 4 ladies for a pre-theatre dinner gave us all something different to try and share. I love the sable fish, the miso soup, the grilled broccolini and the mushrooms. The desserts were fabulous!
I love Minami in Yaletown, so thought we would try this location, but it was not the same. The restaurant was pretty empty and so you would think the food and experience would be amazing, but it was not. Server was friendly but the food was not great - it was disappointing.
Food was absolutely amazing. The restaurants atmosphere felt relax yet chic! Server had took a break which was a good hour therefore the replacement was so so.
High quality ingredients and thoughtful composition of flavours throughout the sushi menu.
Our experience at Minami was fantastic. The service was hands down wonderful - every member of their staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helped to guide us through our choices for the evening. Every dish that we had was outstanding, with the charred broccolini, poke nachos and wagyu carpaccio standing out. Specialty cocktails are all well thought out and the attentionto the wine list is spot on. I only wish I lived in Toronto to go back sooner.
Very good curry ! The ambiance is very chill and the servers are nice. Definitely recommend !

Having been here several times, I would encourage going with a large group in order to taste as many dishes as possible. They are all excellent, but everyone has different favorites. The $100+ Wagyu dish is pricy and small, but one of the best tasting steaks I have ever had in my life. Highly recommend trying at least once.

I had an amazing experience at Minami! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was outstanding—the duck was cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce, the sushi was incredibly fresh and just melted in my mouth, and the crispy chicken was a delight. To top it all off, the carrot cake was the best I’ve had in town. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing. The prix fix menu is a must try. We celebrated bday and they made the plate say happy bday!
The portion size was small, but by the end of it it was fulfilling.
