My husband and I attended for my birthday!

Food was great and the service was top notch. The small touches of cleaning the table between courses, having a server that really knew the menu, and staff that paid attention to our drinks really says alot.

The restaurant decor and artwork was fabulous! The bathrooms were spotless.

The 1 suggestion I would give is to lower thr music by 1 decibel. Otherwise the music was an awesome vibe!

Aaron was an awesome server and paid attention to details.

I would like to give a special shoutout to the hostess, bartender, and grill cook that were on at 6pm on Nov. 7th, 2024.

Top tier service, I definitely will return. Miss Likklemores is setting a new standard!
Until then Likklemore!!

Finally tried this place for brunch and was very surprised. The food was immaculate. Reminded me of home (Jamaica). Tried their jerk bacon eggs Benedict’s with a side of oxtail. Everything was flavourful and cooked to perfection. However, the customer service was not great. We had 3 different people waiting on our table so we weren’t sure who was really taking of our table. The time between being seated and actually being asked to bag we want to drink was like 30 minutes which is a bit long. Then another like 30-45 just to take food orders. No one checked in on us until we were basically done eating. Now if the place was busy I’d understand but it wasn’t busy. Staff just kept walking by our table as if we didn’t exist. The atmosphere was nice with dim lighting and good music. Overall good experience they just need staff that’s more attentive.

Parking: There is a lot right across the street you can parking if there’s spots and pay. I think it’s omni park

Stumbled upon this place while in the area looking for a place to dine. Best decision I made that day. Food was delicious, everything we tried taste good. Oxtail, Deep Fried Snapper, Chicken loved it all. I will be back here for sure.

Excellent food but be prepared to spend. Caribbean folks know oxtail is pricey but this place will run you $44 just for the oxtail and no side. Service was excellent and atmosphere is nice just a "likkle" too dark, so it's hard to read the menu. Overall, very nice vibe.

We had a great meal during Winterlicious here, and so we chose Littlemore’s for our wedding anniversary celebration.

The little note on OpenTable spread fast! Starting from greeters at the door, multiple staff came by and congratulated us, which made us really feel welcomed and special. They also brought over free champagne for the occasion :)

For Appetizers we got the patties and the Double. The flavors were complex and delicious as we remembered.
For main we got Ox Tail and filet (Branzino). The Ox Tail was rich in flavor but it could use more time. The meat was still chewy and not falling apart from the bone as it could be. The branzino was slightly over-charred and had a hint of bitter.

Awesome vibe, and the best beef patties in the city (it's not at Warden station). Buttery crust and unctuous oxtail inside.

The chicken was legit - aggressively spiced like you'd find it down there. My sinuses were cleared for the rest of the night. Snapper was lightly breaded tossed with a particular seasoning that I can't put my finger on.

Highly recommend. Don't waste your time at Chubby's.

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. This is a really great spot, I had a celebration with my friend for my birthday last week and I still thinking about it. We shared the braised oxtail, mac pie and collard greens. All was so delicious and worth ordering again but the collard greens were just incredible, perfectly stewed in a spicy tomato sauce, loved it all

This should’ve been a 5 star review but sadly…sadly….it isn’t. I booked a reservation weeks in advance for an early (6:30pm) anniversary dinner. I chose this place amongst the rest for various reasons. It was a surprise for the hubby, and I was so looking forward to having the oxtail. Shortly after placing our order, the waiter advised that they ran out of oxtail. I was baffled because they just opened at 5pm. I don’t eat seafood, so my only option was the jerk chicken or lamb. We ordered the jerk chicken which is not a novelty to me as we have that all the time. I wanted something we don’t normally get to eat.

The service was impeccable! The waiter was very apologetic and gave us complimentary drinks. We were seated promptly at 6:30pm and were immediately asked if we wanted to start with water. Our drinks were served shortly thereafter, and we had our food order placed within 13min. I indicated on my reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary, and three different staff came up to us to say congratulations. That was lovely.

The ambiance, atmosphere, and music are on point. This is spot where you can hang out with your girls, a couples date, or even a first date.

The food: we had the patties, doubles, jerk chicken, coconut rice, Mac and Pie, and carrot cake. If you manage your expectation on the doubles (don’t think authentic Trini doubles: the Bara was too thick, and the channa was not dripping with the curry and Chandon Beni), then you’ll be ok. The jerk seasoning was ok as well. The coconut rice, Mac and Pie, and patties were great. The carrot cake…to die for. That’s a must!

Price point: it’s expensive for the portions you get. The table next to us miraculously had oxtail. It’s 4 pieces for $65. While I was willing to pay for that, I’m glad we didn’t. That is highway robbery there. Don’t go to this restaurant if you’re not willing to pay the high price point. With the the high price point, I do have a certain expectation and with that, I expect them to not run out of food after an hour and 43min into dinner service.

Will we go back? Unfortunately not. It took us an hour to get downtown and I’m just not willing to pay this kind of money for uncertainty with food.

Update: October 2024

Changing this review from 3* to 5*. I noticed that they updated their menu, decreasing the price of oxtail, added a brunch menu, and added burger option. I casually mentioned this to my husband who then decided to take a chance and take me there for my birthday. It did not disappoint this time around.

Firstly, we finally got the oxtail and while it’s still pricey at $44 (it used to be $65), it was SO worth it. You have to share this dish because the portion is SO large (not a complaint at all). Pair that with the coconut to experience a burst of flavours. We also shared the oxtail beef burger and my goodness, the best burger I have ever had and that says ALOT. We paired that with the macaroni pie (it comes with plantain chips), and we were stuffed by the end of it. We had the patties for apps (that is a must) and carrot cake for dessert (the best ever).

By far my favourite dinner experience since Rome in 2017. It is expensive by the end of it but I don’t mind paying money for good food and excellent service.

Great food, patio and even better servers. I’ve been here a few times and have always had great service and delicious food. Consistent quality that is definitely worth the money in my opinion. My only issue with it is the area. Definitely budget extra time for driving around Spadina and finding parking. Can be a nightmare sometimes

We had a great experience. The ambience was fantastic. Great service. Check on us every few minutes, refreshed our drinks and water. Excellent. For food, we had the brisket style oxtail and grilled jerk chicken with coconut rice. Can you say yummy??!!! Lovely experienced. A bit on the expensive side of course, perhaps share a main and no appetizer if you want to keep costs down. But to me, it was worth it and I would recommend.
