Currently at the restaurant, never got food or drink checked, for anything I ordered. The food did taste good, mostly, drinks were amazing. I do wish their menu stated what was vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian. I got the thyme flies and my friend got one of the rum drinks. Was really disappointed in service, considering the prices. If the service was better, would've got dessert and more cocktails, but our sever never came by, I got fed and got the bill. There were people who dropped our food over, they were nice. There was a dj, which does help.

Visited Miss ikklemores twice whilst holidaying in Toronto. Firstly for brunch which was delicious. I had chicken and waffles which was knock out the chicken looked like bone in but was thighs huge portion and even managed to share some with my three year old who gave it a big thumbs up. The flavours were unique and each dish individual. I had a few cocktails salted caramel espresso martini and a rum punch also spot on.

We were seated in the private area with a table for 8.
The suggestion offered by the attentive waiter to share the mains around the table was a fabulous idea as we had plenty variety to share.
The Rice and Vegetable dishes were also delicious.
The desserts ordered and shared were a hit.
A wonderful evening, great food, excellent service.

Not worth the hype. Honestly the brunch on Sunday wasn't impressive at all. The prices are absolutely insane and service extremely slow. Another restaurant people choose due to the Instagram.

We had the pleasure of eating in Miss Likklemore's for brunch and dinner while holidaying in Toronto and immediately felt a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we entered. It has a cool classy vibe as did the staff that greeted and served us. The food was glorious with each unique dish well thought out with individual warm spices standing on their own but combining beautifully as the menu choices appetisers and mains are perfect for sharing with special mention to the Likkle patties and shrimp at brunch and hangar steak, charcoal grilled jerk chicken and grilled fish fillet at dinner. We sampled cocktails, the recommended wine choices which were spot on and after dinner rum which paired beautifully with the splendid desserts with a special mention to the passionfruit tart, rum and raisin ice cream (oh the rum!) and mango sorbet. If we lived in Toronto we would return to this absolutely fabulous restaurant in a heartbeat.

I came here for brunch with the girls, 7 of us.
We ordered basically everything: patties, doubles, oxtail hash, jerk bacon, fried chicken and waffles, grits plus we did bottomless mimosas.

The food was alright, consensus gave it a 7/10. The atmosphere was good. But the service was poor.

Our waitress was basically non existent and the host (manager) had to step in multiple occasions. We had to look for someone to take our order and for refills (bottomless mimosa) Whenever she did come around, she had attitude with her. At the end, when she came to give us each our bills, we saw the auto 20% gratuity fee, but definitely felt she was not deserving of that. We addressed it with the same host who helped us (took our order, got us refills; who identified himself as a manager) and while we were speaking with him, she was also speaking over him. There was no manners, no thanks you no apologies from her. After the conversation, we paid and left.

For the price and experience, personally it wasn’t the best for us.

Miss Likklemore’s was such a great experience. The drinks were excellent, the food was good, and the Caribbean-inspired vibe really stood out. The ambiance was exquisite; warm, lively, and perfect for a night out. Service was smooth and friendly, which made the whole evening even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for cocktails and atmosphere.

Miss Likkle’s! It was my first time in Toronto & wanted a comparable brunch to options available in DC… let’s just say she did not disappoint. The food was top notch, the bartender was very sweet. They were super busy, making food slow to come out, but they apologized & made sure to check in on us & keep us informed. Good price for bottomless mimosas as well. Could use a DJ!

We came here for a bday brunch for a group of 6 and were all blown away by the service and food! We got bottomless mimosas and were worried about how the speed of the service would be but luckily our glasses stayed full! Would definitely come back and recommend ordering a bunch of things to share as we did.

Miss Likklemores is the 5th of 6 restaurants featured on Top Chef - Destination Canada that we have visited. Miss Likklemores is one of the best! Our server Geedi was incredibly attentive and very helpful with menu choices. Our starters were delicious but, alas, we ate them so quickly no photos. The starters we ordered were Cheddar Biscuits, Salt Cod Fritters and Fried Rock Shrimp. The Shrimp were “to die for “!!!. Mains, in order of pictures were Charcoal Grilled Chicken, Dragon Snout Short ribs and , the best Slow Braised Oxtail! All were delicious. The ONLY downside to this restaurant was the volume of the background music. It was way too loud. When we arrived and our waiter Geedi came to the table I couldn’t understand what he was saying due to the loud music. I asked him if it was possible to turn it down and he did. When we were getting ready to leave someone turned it up again. Note to whomever … excessively loud music can be a deterrent for repeat customers regardless of how wonderful the food and service is.

Wow what an amazing time.
The ambiance is so subtle you are taken back to the island with the music playing in the background.
The flavor of the food was delicious and perfect for sharing.
Excellent service, very attentive and professional.
I definitely recommend you stop by and experience the beauty and the vibe. We definitely will return back.

Miss Licklemore’s is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Toronto — and it’s right on King Street, near Spadina. This is authentic Jamaican dining with style, flavor, and energy that keeps you coming back.

The jerk chicken is legendary — smoky, tender, and bursting with that bold kick only real Jamaican cooking delivers. Pair it with one of their amazing cocktails (the bartenders here are true artists) and you’ve got a meal you’ll be talking about long after you leave.

On certain nights, they bring in a DJ spinning the tunes, and the whole place transforms into a lively, feel-good party you won’t want to end.

It may sound a little pricey at first glance, but the quality, portions, atmosphere, and service make it worth every penny. If you love great food, great drinks, and great vibes, Miss Licklemore’s is the spot — let’s make sure it becomes a King Street institution.

Overall experience wasn’t bad, the music was great and food was well seasoned, as well as decent sized portions.

The negatives were the fact that the service was extremely slow. We reserved a table for a birthday party thinking it would be extremely busy in the city for brunch. The restaurant wasn’t busy (less than 50% full) and there were plenty of employees working so there should have been no reason for the serious delays. We waited a long time for drinks and then the apps came WITH our mains. On top of that they changed our sever 3 times. We were a party of 8 and there was an automatic gratuity of 20% which I think is higher then expected (usually 15-18%) especially with the below average service we received.

All in all I wouldn’t recommend as a great brunch spot. If you were looking for Caribbean food in the city that’s not fast food it’s a place to consider, but there are better restaurants.
