This food court stall is quite different from other food court Chinese options. They don't have the usual Westernised dishes but a more 'authentic' (the term is contested, but it will suffice for a food review!) menu & there was even at least one dish I'd never seen before. The flavours here are simpler, like in Chinese home cooking (versus what you'd get at a restaurant).
Had fried rice mixed with fried noodles, Sichuan boiled fish, pork with mountain vegetables, chicken with mushrooms, fried cabbage & other vegetables & dry pork ribs; the dishes were so interesting that I added some on. The carbs were decent & the dishes were pretty tasty.
The fact that they don't have labels for the items suggests that the menu changes regularly, so it should pay to drop by regularly as you'll probably see something new. I went on a Friday & was told that from Tuesday to Thursday they have even more dishes.
Really went downhill in recent years. As others mentioned, some items have high hidden prices. A box of noodles with 2 items that was listed at $12.99 on the board ended up costing almost $25. Flavour and freshness have gone way downhill as well. It will be my last time here.

Disgusting food
It’s my favorite Cantonese fast food in financial district. There used to be a long line from 12 to 1 everyday pre covid. So sad that after covid many dishes are no longer offered. The rest is as delicious as before. Remember to bring cash or debit when you visit.

Affordable Chinese meals available near St. Andrew station. Both the Szechuan chicken and spicy fish with fried rice tasted delicious.Although the egg noodles for the beef brisket noodles were slightly under cooked, the brisket was juicy and delicious with their light broth.

Run-of-the-mill Chinese food, just shy of being average. If you've ever been to Szechuan or any of the other chain restaurants that offer Chinese cuisine, that's basically what you're getting here. I got chicken/rice/noodles/veggies(85% onions, eww) and it didn't taste great. The rice stood out the most, reminded me of how my Haitian father prepared it when I was young. 3 Stars because of the nostalgic rice, otherwise 2. Edible but not worth the price tag (10 bucks). Save your money, there's much better out there.
Not good Chinese food
If you new in Toronto , travelling, or new arrived, just visit, have your big and delicious meal here. It is super close to Union station. On google map, the place is not right, you need to walk one more street and go down under the building. You will see the food cord.Super kind staff they have by far. Explained all food, offered me nice mix of food, and had a perfect one. There is plenty place to sit, bathroom and many other restaurants as well.
Over priced garbage Chinese food
