Mofer has become my favorite coffee shop in the neighbourhood and there is a lot of great competition.
It is the only place I can get a unique tasting coffee via pourover.
The team is so friendly and kind and Ruth specifically always makes me feel welcome and makes the best pour over I've ever had. I feel like family here.
Their smoothies are exceptional as well!

The ladies at the counter are nice and approachable. The coffee was alright and so was the scone but I’ve had better. I may have caught them on a bad day -but the BR was dirty and there was no toilet paper. I informed them and they said they’d address it. I do judge places by the BR, however, I find people have become considerably more inconsiderate of public spaces no matter how well a business attends to their BR?

Great location and great vibe to get some work done. They have some healthy smoothies on the menu made with frozen fruit and not purée or concentrate so it’s a good spot to setup for a bit with my laptop. Staff are friendly and polite.

Gone to this place 4 different times now for the coconut coffee smoothie and every time I go they don't have it. It's quite annoying because if it is not regularly available it should be removed from the menu or added as a specialty item. This has put me off going back, the coffee is good quality but so are other places coffees around here. They should have their most popular item in stock at 8 am in the morning.

A great place to hang out and relax. A good amount of seating - especially for single people. Public single stall restroom. Just had a chocolate chip cookie while waiting for a screening at TIFF. Cool atmosphere and amazing view of the CN Tower.

The queue can be a little longer than at the nearby, no-frills 'Out of This World Café on Stokes', and their basic large coffee is a few cents more. However, this basic coffee comes with several free toppings, and the vibe is perfect.

I’ll be honest, I really do want to like this place as I think it’s a wonderful atmosphere and is in a convenient location for me to access. Unfortunately in the few time I’ve gone there is generally a 50/50 shot of my order being wrong. I don’t fight it most of the time because the staff is already clearly frustrated with me for trying to correct the order before they charge me and start making the drink.
Most of the time I order a small Decafe Americano, and I have walked away with Iced coffees, 16 oz double shot lattes and other drinks that are generally more expensive than what I’ve tried to order. So in the end most of the time I end up spending more money on a drink I most of the time end up throwing out as soon as I leave because it hurts my stomach.
I confirm with the staff every time that they have decafe, I really have no idea why they never serve it to me. Luckily they have never given me dairy milk. They do always give me my requested Oat milk in whatever concoction they decide to make me that day!
Very disappointed,went there 3 days in a row this week and they were out of orange pekoa tea.How can a cafe/coffee shop be out of a popular type of tea???When I asked the server if they would have my tea today,she answered "I don't know",so I didn't return today.Too bad that this was first experience with Mofer,and I was not impressed.
