My partner and I stopped by after hearing about the Sunday Roast and we were blown away. We started with some Welsh rarebit toast which was worthy of a five star review itself. Each bite had a dense amount of cheese and intense flavour that we were both stunned into happy silence! The roast was incredible as well! Roast beef cooked perfectly, a decent portion of potatoes and other vegetables and they were not shy with the gravy (served in the coolest canister I’ve ever seen). Our server Alanna was so knowledge and kind. We can’t wait to come back!

Say good-bye to Sunday scaries and say Hello to Man of Kent Sundays! They have revolutionized Sunday afternoons with their exceptional Roast dinner, couldn’t ask for a more heart warming meal//establishment.

Now down to the real bread and butter of this place - the staff. Absolute rockstars from the second you walk in. It maybe called Man of Kent but our bartender Davey is Man of the year! He swept us off our feet immediately, if only life was as good as Davey treated us! 100 out of 10 recommended - Also do your self a favour and ask for Davey, won’t be disappointed !!

I had a really awful experience. I am a small Asian woman, and I was waiting at the bar to be serviced, and I noticed that everyone around me was getting drinks, except for me. There were 3 bartenders working at that time. There was this girl that came up to the bar much later than me, who was asked what she wanted to drink. She ordered and then turned to me to ask if I had already ordered. I said no, and she asked me what I wanted to drink, and I told her a gin and tonic. When another bartender asked her again what she wanted to drink (the 2nd time - while I was never asked once!) she ordered my drink for me. The whole time that bartender was making my drink, he didn’t look at me or make any eye contact with me. Even when the payment machine was brought out. I felt really awful walking out of there.
