Great bare bones pub with excellent beer variety, pool table, juke box, and amazing staff. Music venue downstairs is a plus.

Elyse and all the staff at Monarch have always been welcoming, and some of the best staff you could have behind the bar. I’ve been here for events, watched Jays, Bills, Raptors and Leafs games and the atmosphere is always great.
Come for the burgers and stay for drinks

We hosted a NYE party at the Monarch Tavern and had an amazing time! The bartending team was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The venue had everything we needed from various lighting options, adaptable sound system and flexible seating/dancing space for the guests.

Drinks are strong, so affordable, and staff are kind and chill as hell. Washrooms are not dirty, and there’s a lot of seating and tables !!!! Great place to go with a larger group. I got very drunk for the cheapest I have in a a while :D

Decent atmosphere, plenty of TVs for watching sports. Bindis Burgers were quite good. Unfortunately, I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes and was completely ignored by both barmen and didn't get to order a drink. My friend also tried but had no luck. No table service, though understandable as it was quite busy. Others seemed to have no trouble as they knew the barman, God knows how many times I was skipped over because of that.
