Decent atmosphere, plenty of TVs for watching sports. Bindis Burgers were quite good. Unfortunately, I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes and was completely ignored by both barmen and didn't get to order a drink. My friend also tried but had no luck. No table service, though understandable as it was quite busy. Others seemed to have no trouble as they knew the barman, God knows how many times I was skipped over because of that.

I could not recommend the Monarch Tavern more. I have seen amazing concerts here including Fionn during NXNE, but nothing will top the service they provided for my wedding. The bar staff were lovely preparing a signature cocktail for guests as they arrived, they were friendly and personable with each guest making everyone feel comfortable. The sound tech Morgan was amazing at ensuring all our speeches could be heard upstairs during cocktail hour and that our bands Union Duke and Trash Panda Brass sounded crystal clear downstairs. The prices to host were reasonable and is something I would explore again in the future. Huge shout out to Evan for making this magical night possible.

A gem! Great bar, excellent craft beer selection, unique atmosphere. Also, great food available from the little kitchen within the establishment — it’s a separate business within the space. While I was there with a group of old friends for the evening, it got quite lively. This place is historic, unexpected and memorable!

We hosted a private event on the second floor and had a great time. Such a great place to host an event. Laid back with lots of entertainment options. The staff are so friendly. Bindi's Burgers catered and it was delicious. Great beer selection on tap.
