i've tried multiple monkey sushi location and this one is the best so far. they still provide miso soup while others y eventho we asked for it. they're very generous with wasabi, soy sauce and ginger + very tight rolls, the others are very loose and would fall off whenever i pick them up

I’ve been a regular customer of Monkey Sushi for some time, and I rarely leave negative reviews because I don’t like putting businesses down. However, this time I feel compelled to speak up because this is a serious safety concern.
My recent Uber Eats order from Monkey Sushi was completely unacceptable. Several pieces of sushi had sharp bones left in the raw salmon. This is not only careless but downright dangerous, showing how poorly the fish is being deboned.
To make matters worse, we found rotten salmon pieces in the salmon wrap. This is absolutely disgusting and raises serious questions about the freshness and handling of their ingredients.
Until Monkey Sushi drastically improves their quality control, I cannot recommend trying any of their salmon items. It’s simply not worth the risk to your health or your money.

Ordered via their website. Pickup was quick. Food was alright, but a couple items were very bland. Did not give enough wasabi paste, but gave TOO MUCH ginger. Oddly enough, for the two bowls of miso, one had a rich flavor while the other bowl tasted only like boiled water. This place is worthy of a minimum of 3 stars, and I expect the food to be better earlier in the day.

1st visit, 14Aug24: ordered 2 gold dragon rolls (8 pieces each). And one miso soup. And three cokes. Tasted delicious. Came with napkins great.
Will be coming back.
2nd visit: ordered 2x the black dragon roll (eel as the meat) and 3 gingerales. The maki tasted great. Although I like the salmon maki over the eel maki. Even though the eel maki is more expensive, I like salmon more.
3rd visit: ordered the hot fusion roll. And 1 Gingerale, 1 Coke, and 1 Diet Coke. The hot fusion roll was great, and my favourite so far. It’s great to torched salmon on imitation crab maki. I like it torched - nice smoky texture. I should continue torching the fishes I like to eat. Came with no chopsticks though. I have to mention it to be included next time/all times.

This restaurant scams people through Uber eats, do not order from them as you will be charged for items you did not order or receive. Trying to speak with them on the phone is a waste of time they are thieves.
Eat at your own expense. First off, it tastes soapy. The sushi also has this weird slimy texture and its taste is like mushy cucumber basked with spam meat and left in the fridge for some days as it acquires that distinct fridge taste.
A true 3.5/10. There are a bajillion sushi spots downtown that are literally the same price and not only of excellent quality but also BIGGER PORTIONS!!
