This is the first time I have been asked to pay for extra sauce for Sushi as I have been a Moneky Sushi customer many years and never heard from anyone else about this charges occurred. Please Moneky sushi make this clear to all the customers and give explanation of why the request for asking more sauces is not applicable.

Lunch for 4 and some of us had mixed reviews about the food. Unanimous feedback included great service and quick food turnaround.
The pan fried udon was way too saucy (like an udon soup). Some sushi pieces didn’t bond well and fell apart as you dipped in the soy sauce. The pickled ginger and wasabi were in self-served packages.

I ordered the beef bento box and it was probably the worst beef I have ever had. Cut into strange cubes and over cooked to death. The rest of the meal tasted good but really disappointing in the end.

I've had food poisoning since Friday night after eating at the restaurant. Apart from croissant and ☕️ in Starbucks,it was the only thing I ate. I thought the 🐟 didn't look too good,but being a sushi lover,I wolfed it down. These things happen once in a while,not blaming the establishment,but I can't keep any food down for over 48 hours. Not a nice weekend.

The worst sushi in Toronto. Rolls didn’t have sesame seeds, way too much over cooked rice (not even sushi rice) and the buy one get one free special on Uber is a lie. They put the price up to $27 (for 2 rolls and 2 pc sushi) quality and taste was terrible.

It was actually surprisingly good quality. Salmon tasted fresh. Affordable and great value for money. Note that they close for dine-in 1 hour before the posted close times, then it’s take out only after that.

I used to frequent this place 10-15 years ago. Haven’t been here since 2017 because I bought a house outside of Toronto. It used to be called Sushi Delight.
It seems the table and dining area is still the same, however, a lot has changed.
Me and my high school friend came here because that’s where we used to go.
When I first walked by, I was shocked at the amount of delivery people sitting on bikes outside. There were very few people inside at the tables. I think people are scared off by the amount of delivery people outside.
Aside from that, the menu has changed and it took us a while to figure out the best options.
It’s best to get the sushi combos then split it. I have to mention that two combos were way too much food for two people. We sat in there for a good couple of hours trying to digest everything.
Everything was good, menu could use improvements. The staff were really friendly and nice. We sat and chatted until close ?
