Got uber eats from here in January of 2025 and then got it again yesterday (January 25th, 2026) and placed the same order. The poke bowl looked much different than the photo on the site and what we had last year. Also they did not put the sauces on them, they were a bit dry. Disappointing for what we paid as we loved this place last time...

Ordered $70 worth of food on uber eats, the hot appetizers arrived stone cold and all 3 rolls did not have ginger and tobiko

vibe was fine, slightly slanted by the massive counter taking up all the walking space in the front. somehow that’s a design counterpart of every monkey sushi in the city. it’s not a good one.

food came fast at the expense of the rice being warm…? never had half cold half hot sushi before can’t say i’m a fan. rice was ridiculously sweet.

they were playing disney songs the entire time, and im not talking cute old trad pop from cinderella, im talking about like villain songs from beauty and the beast and aladdin… why? not the vibe. also waited AGES for the bill and had to call the lady over

Ordered sushi from here last night for the last time. The order took almost an hour (which is more an Uber problem) and yet somehow they still didn't find the time to include ginger, wasabi or soy sauce. We had 4 separate maki orders and yet there was only 1 soy sauce and 1 wasabi, despite us paying for extra. The spicy combo also only had 1/3 of the order with spicy mayo and the rolls are pretty loose.
These guys just don't care about what goes out their doors anymore. Used to like this place, but even at this price there are better options.

I honestly don’t write reviews and typically just don’t return to a place if it was a bad experience. Yesterday, we ordered some basic maki rolls (salmon, tuna, and California). We also ordered the chicken udon soup. In short: it was the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The rolls did not smell fresh (and they were enormous in a bad way), the chicken and noodles were inedible. I literally could not eat it. It went straight in the garbage after a few bites. I’m happy to pay a bit more and get quality sushi. This was beyond bad. I’m unsure how folks continue to eat here. For context: I ordered this for delivery but I live 3 mins from the restaurant. It was really bad.

I have been ordering from here since the sushi bistro days- always had a positive experience until today ordered my regular meal through their preferred method of ordering meemup
I waited 2 hours for no food to ever be delivered then I called the restaurant for them to tell me no one I had picked up the order I was planning to so they canceled it when I asked him if I would replace the order on Uber eats if they would be making the sushi fresh or giving me the sushi that had been sitting at room temperature for over an hour I was told that I would most likely get the one that is sitting there instead of making it fresh.. I asked to speak to the owner Terry as he's delivered our food before and is very kind but hey refused to put me in contact with him . I hope to be able to change this to 5 stars but have my doubts

Ordered on Uber eats, great presentation with packaging, food was not stuffed together in a small container like some other sushi restaurants do. Good portions, fresh and tasty.

Not sure who needs to relay the information but the chef consistently adds spicy mayo to my party tray when i tell them we have an egg allergy. Happens every time I order from here and since they added this plastic bag over the tray now i didnt see that there was spicy mayo this time.

Monkey Sushi is pretty standard. You can always find a special, usually a two for one deal that will be delivered quickly. Lately, you have to order everything ala carte. That wasn’t always the case.
NB: Check your order at the door. There’s really no where to go if you’re charged for things that aren’t in the bag.
