We order here regularly as its near home.
Our most recent order was frustrating - we ordered 2 party trays plus extra items but when we got back to our guests, there were only 5 sets of chopsticks (even though we asked for 10).
The food was good overall, but I wish someone had been thinking as they packed the order given the volume of food.
I ordered sashimi for lunch and within one hour of eating I started experiencing food poisoning symptoms. Serving raw fish that makes people sick is dangerous and completely unacceptable. Will not be ordering here again.
Always ordered from this restaurant, fresh and tasty sushi 🍣

Fairly inedible. Everything was over cooked. Would never go back. First staff was uninterested. Woman who waited on me was fine.

The food is what makes me go to Monkey Sushi. The atmosphere at the Eglinton Ave location is good. Just be aware though to tell the cashier immediately if it’s for dine in or to go. If it’s to go you can’t seat in the seating area otherwise they will make you leave the seating area.

Came in looking for a table of 2 and they didn’t seem interested at all to serve us. They said there was no availability but I did see there were 2 tables put together to make a table of 4 and only 2 people were sitting there. I kindly asked if there was a chance we could split those tables up and the lady said “I don’t know, only if you’re going to do AYCE and if not maybe come back in 30 minutes”. I asked if there was a waiting list to sign up for and she said “just try coming back or go another place”.
Walk two mins to the north corner of Yonge & Eglinton and you’ll find dozens of way better options.

Rotten fish fake ground tuna. I puked in the bathroom mid meal from bitting into rancid fish. When I told them I would pay for one of the two all you can eat meals they laughed and suggested calling the cops or an ambulance. I hope they are out of business soon worst sushi experience ever.
I went here for dine-in and ordered through Uber for pick up as well. I like the taste and portions are good for the price. I recommend torched and Aburi sushi.

Been going here since mid July to get my full meals. I typically order a chicken katsu take bento box with a side of chicken (big back i know) over the phone. It comes with 6 pcs sushi with salmon inside, tempura shrimp and veg, rice, dips, and miso soup. The staff are pretty positive and help out with customers orders! Shoutout to Ruby on weekends

Tried their AYCE. Good deal, but they charge for leftovers.

The sushi at Monkey Sushi was decent fresh enough and nicely presented. The rolls were tasty but nothing too memorable. Service was a bit slow, and the atmosphere felt a little crowded. It’s a good spot for a quick sushi fix, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of customer service and seating comfort.
