Decent Cantonese spot for dinner and dim sum. These places are usually only in Markham. Hard to find one especially core downtown.

Extremely rude staff, mediocre food, outrageously small portions for the price. I tipped 10% and they chased me out asking for more. Much better options nearby. TAKE YOUR MONEY

Food was less than mediocre but that’s besides the point. The waitress offered us tea before we even sat down or took off our coats. Typically this is complimentary in Asian restaurants yet when the bill came around they charged us for two teas then later pointed at the menu saying it says there’s a charge here. If that’s the case, don’t offer people this before they are even seated because they haven’t even seen the menu and will obviously assume it’s complimentary (it was just your regular Asian tea by the way - I’ve been to many many restaurants where this is placed on the table for free). If you ask me it was just a way for them to be sneaky and charge you without telling you. They also charged us for two teas when it was one pot that they left out and only one person agreed that they wanted it before sitting.

Dim sum is very authentic but a bit pricey as expected due to the location! The atmosphere and service are good! Do love their siu mai, gigantic!

We visited this restaurant around 3:30 PM specifically for their egg tarts. Before entering, we confirmed with the staff that they had egg tarts, and they assured us they did. However, we were then told that the staff was having their meal and that we should wait inside for more than 30 minutes. After patiently waiting, another staff member, who had just finished eating, finally told us that there were no egg tarts available. He claimed he had just started his shift and was unaware of the situation. By this point, my companion and I had already waited for a long time, yet we received no apology from the restaurant staff. To make matters worse, when it was time to pay, the staff displayed an attitude towards us regarding the tip, treating us disrespectfully with passive-aggressive remarks. The entire experience was extremely disappointing, and we felt unwelcome as customers.

Very good Cantonese Chinese food options for downtown Toronto. They have lobster options and Peking duck at $88.

Typically we don’t like to eat authentic Chinese food downtown Toronto but prefer Markham or even Scarborough - but this restaurant seems to check all boxes in terms of hygiene , cleanliness , food selection , service and taste.

We had the signature lobster , green peas , Shrimp dumplings , and pineapple fried rice 😋

And they’re open all day for lunch and dinner

They also offer a separate take out window from inside the building which is great !

Vegetarian options: 1 page on their menu dedicated to vegetarian options

One of the better dim sum spots in Downtown Toronto, though the selection of dim sum items is relatively limited and they were surprisingly sold out of congee when I dined here. The actual space and ambiance leaves much to be desired but the food feels clean, tasty, and well seasoned. Definitely come here with a group and plan to share, as the portions here are quite large!

My name is Abu. I came to Canada to travel. I am currently in Toronto for half a month. However, I haven’t learned to use chopsticks and knives and forks. In my hometown, people eat with their hands. Every time I eat in Canada, I have to face strange looks from others. Until I ordered takeout from this store, although I asked for cutlery, they did not provide me with cutlery. This makes me feel that my national culture is respected, and eating with hands tastes better. I hope the boss will keep this tradition of not giving chopsticks. I wish the boss a prosperous business and love from afar.

Dim sum is delicious and delicate. Service is friendly and efficient. Setting is cozy and beautiful, with high ceilings. Very conveniently located. What’s not to like?! 😄

A solid dim sum place for me and my frds for the past couple years until recently.

It’s soooooo disappointing that the restaurant downsized their dimsum menu around 50%, which was 2 full pages with much more varieties a few month ago but now barely 1 page.

Well the service and ambience still the same but the food option seems not coming back anymore.

It’s not just a one time bad experience but more like a tragedy for us cuz now we lost a go-to place for dim sum.
