I can't speak for Sandra's food, but unfortunately she was not very collaborative and respectful when it came to creating a personalized tasting menu. I personally don't think it's worth the stress of dealing with such a personality when it comes to event planning and curating a personalized dining experience for special events.

An intimate dining experience. A warm, inviting atmosphere that is comfortable. Sandra is passionate about food and loves to tell you about it. Vegetarian options were offered if needed. Our cocktails were delicious and we had an opportunity to customize them. We could have probably shared one starter instead of getting two. The portions are decent. Espresso was perfection (such a relief). We also shared the dessert. Reservations are a must. We booked about one month ahead for a Saturday evening.

Morellina’s is the best Italian restaurant in Toronto, and this is coming from someone who eats often in Little Italy. Sandra is the warmest host and the food is divine. We go for special occasions, when guests are in town, and the seasonal menu is *always* insanely good. Thank you Morellina’s for taking such good care of us!

Cute vibe, but no AC and it was a very hot night- we were all sweating and using ice cubes to cool down. Server and owner Alessandra was friendly but seemed a bit waved. Food was ok but extremely overpriced - google menu and prices are outdated. We were disappointed and wouldn’t recommend- way better italian spots in the city. Unfortunate, as we were excited to try it.
Food was wonderful, however overpriced for what you received and the AC did not work so very difficult to enjoy your meal while the room was stifling.

We had a great time despite the rain on Friday night. My fav was the pistachio cream pillow shape dumplings. They even split it into two plates. How lovely. We also had the tiramisu (topped with dark chocolate pieces) oh every dish has different levels of cheese in it, so be aware if you’re lactose intolerant. Great for special occasions.

A hidden gem of Toronto. Every meal I have had is one for the record books. I have held of writing a review because I selfishly knew that the most exposure it got the less likely I would be able to get a table next time! Amazing food, atmosphere and service. The owner is so kind and nice to chat with. I promise it will be a meal to remember.

really good food and service. unique dishes.
I had an exceptional dining experience here with my son last night. Lina the chef prepared divinely scrumptious dishes that were better than pasta I've had during a two week trip all over Italy. The Agnelotti Con Crema Di Pistacchio was to die for...really..and I'm not usually a pistachio fan yet I licked the plate clean. The Rosetta Alla Vodka was equally delicious and a hit with my son! We also had the Aragosta Con Risotto Al Zafferano which was an experience in and of itself due to how delicious it was, with layers of texture and flavour, and we ended our dinner with a heavenly Chocolate Molten Lava Cake. Not only was the food of the highest quality and the presentation beautiful, but so was the service. Chef Lina was a great hostess, moving between the kitchen and the dining area ensuring we're enjoying the food, and Sandra was a wonderful hostess who accommodated me and my little one ensuring we're comfortable. They both made us feel at home and the atmosphere of the place was so welcoming, cozy, and just pefect. You can tell that this place is run with lots of heart and passion, and that the owners Lina and Sandra truly care. We will definitely be back with more friends and I'll be spreading the word about this little Toronto gem! Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

Owner was very disrespectful. I came into the restaurant and asked one of the employees if I could use the bathroom as I was working in the area and that was the closes store near me. They said yes and as I was waiting to use it the owner came out and was being rude and kicking me out telling me that I asked a dishwasher to use the bathroom. The restaurant was not even packed full and I was being kicked out for wanting to use the bathroom.
