My first time here today and was pleasantly surprised to find not only great coffee but a great atmosphere. Finally a place that has a no laptop/tablet policy. I was able to get a seat and enjoy my coffee (great Flat White) without having most of them seated taken up by single laptop users that's had long finished their one coffee over 2 hours ago. Koodos to the owner.

It was such a wonderful place by Queen east to seat and sip your wonderful coffee, late, cappuccino and more while tmdinnining a great selection of sweets. It really has an Italian taste and the owner is such a great guy to have a warm conversation.

Absolute jackpot find! Best cafe on queen east near parliament/sherbourne. They dont allow laptops so theres room to sit, chat, read or relax! Excellent teas, lattes, coffee and ice cream. Nice glassware and friendly staff!

I had their latte, cookie, and panettone gelato here today. It is amongst one of the best lattes I've ever had. You can feel the texture, smell the aroma of freshly ground beans, and, most importantly, the look. The owner, presumably the gentle old man, is the spirit of this cafe. He offered me the panettone that he just experimented---it was delicious (the texture, perfect temp, density🤤). I also like the customer service of the other barista. I've been to several 'chic' places across the east and west coasts, however, this cafe is one that pulls you in with its unique, sombre vibe. As someone who would have appreciated a laptop while sipping my latte, I was actually relieved to at last find a place for my silent reading/note-taking. The best part is I will frequent this place again (I only live a block away). And yes, keep the electronics away!!

I’ve heard my sister rant and rave about how great Joe’s gelato is and have finally had the chance to try it. It is worth the hype!!! The gelato had a nice consistency, and the flavours were so rich but not too sweet. Joe was accommodating and welcoming, and the cafe had a warm ambiance. I also tried the almond cookie and hot chocolate, and both were amazing! I will be a returning customer, I recommend this place! Thank you Joe!

What a hidden gem! I tried their gelato and it was phenomenal. The owner was so kind to let me try the flavors before ordering and honestly it was so hard to choose! I ended up going with the dark chocolate which was so rich and memorable and the ricotta with orange zest. By far the best quality gelato I’ve had in this city.
