Food was decent but service was very slow. Went for brunch on a Sunday. I can recommend the shakshuka, wasn’t spicy but nice hunks of garlic and onion. Not overly expensive, around $100 for brunch for 4 people. Would recommend if meeting a friend near union station but there are many more brunch spots to try in the city.

A cozy place with friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and soothing music. Minutes away from King TTC station on Yonge Street. Good for meetups, events or to enjoy a hot beverage in peace.

I like the vise!
What a cute place! We had resos on a Tuesday & came in for happy hour by pleasant coincidence. It wasn’t busy which I liked. Ordered a few house wines and the butter chicken poutine which was yummy and a large portion. My friend had some falafel which were good as well. I did think the assortment of menu items was very random and not a great selection, but we came just to have a few drinks and get photos so I wasn’t too worried about it. Service was great, our server was friendly, accommodating & efficient. The decor in the sitting room was adorable and perfect for pictures - also huge comfy couches to sink into and chat. I wouldn’t come back for dinner but I would pop in for drinks :)

I had an after work drink and dinner with my friend here and it was so lovely! The decor is eclectic with a cozy yet sophisticated feel. The food is yummy with lots of veggies added so I felt like I was eating a balanced and yummy meal. And shoutout to Sonan who was a friendly and helpful server!

We came here as a friend gave us a voucher that was expiring soon. The breakfast options are good. We ordered the Victoria breakfast and eggs Benedict. I liked the Victoria breakfast better. Eggs Benedict had a funny coconut oil smell. Maybe it's from the muffin but I wasn't a fan. Husband also said it's not the best eggs Benedict he had. The portions are generous. Their potatoes are very tasty and nicely seasoned. The bun on the Victoria breakfast was really good. Our server Misha was exceptional. Listens well, and attentive to our needs. The ambiance could use a serious uplift. It looks like an old school diner - including the furniture. Restrooms are downstairs but you can take the elevator to it. Overall a decent experience, not sure if it did enough to bring me back here.

Had breakfast here, but the experience was kind of meh. It was supposed to be a mother-daughter getaway brunch and we ordered the Victoria sandwich and the Healthy Avocado Toast. The Victoria sandwich was a hit but the healthy Avocado was flavourless and ordinary. The menu said it was served with za’atar and Arugula but there was only lettuce and no spice with almost raw avocado. We didn’t even finish it. The service was also very underwhelming and lacking in warmth. Perhaps she has something going on in her life that I don’t know about, I hope things get better for her. But the overall experience in this place lacked value for the time and money spent.
Liwam was wonderful!!!
Great quiet spot in a high traffic area - Liwam provided fantastic service and Renee the chef was incredibly accomodating to dietary needs. Highly recommend!
